12/2/10 Wow!!! Has it really been another two months without updates? Sheesh. We are gearing up for holidays and peak season.

 

Miss Alexis just had her three yr physical. The doctor evaluated her speech and decided that we need to do some hearing tests with an audiologist and get Alexis in with a speech therapist for an evaluation. The problem is, her speech isn't very clear and you can't really hold a conversation with her, and while she answers questions, she does not ask them. I was surprised to learn that alexis is behind on her 3 yr behavioral assessment.

 

While I will be doing all the stuff the doctor suggested, I'm going to take it a little bit further to see if we can make some improvements on our own.  Wish us luck!!

 

In other news, I found a really cool place that I would like to take alexis. Its called "Artbeast" and is basically a bunch of different classes and arts and crafts for toddlers and children. The price of drop in admission is 8.00, the price for a month pass is 60.00 and the price for a family pass for a year is 475.00 or something crazy like that. I'm thinking she will love it... maybe I will take her next week on a drop in admission. =)
