It's a Boy!!!!!!!!!

Wow - They were not kidding when they say "time flies". Our baby boy is already a month old.....I can't stand it! If anyone ever hears about a "stay little forever pill", please let me know. I am treasuring every minute of Brayden's young life, but it seems as if you blink, you might miss something.
Brayden continues to be a very laid back little boy. Despite being handed to so many people, he did so good at the shower and baptism, though he was a little "tuckered out" to say the least by the end of the day. He has been fighting holding his head up since birth, and can now do it for longer periods of time. He smiles a lot (and no - it isn't just gas!) and even tries to laugh....a really big smile while he breathes very rapidly. He is cooing and making sweet baby noises when we talk to him and play with him. The biggest question I am asked, is about his sleeping at night......he is AMAZING!!!! Typically, he sleeps about 4 or 5 hours, then wakes at about 3am for feeding and changing, then back to sleep for another 4 hours or so. He has slept for 7 hours on 2 separate nights and even one night for 8 hours......My little dream come true!
Although he is growing like a weed, he is actually losing in one area - his hair~! His hairline has actually receded before our eyes, and now he only has hair on the back of his head. Thankfully, it will grow back, and we are anxiously awaiting to see what color it will be when it grows.
We have had so many visitors and warm wishes, and love sent throughout the pregnancy and since his birth.....THANK YOU! WE LOVE YOU!!!

7/20/08 Baptism - Brayden was baptized this morning by Father Dan in Cartersville (St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church). He did so good throughout mass - with the exception of a bout of hiccups. Aaris and Joe joined us at mass, as did Uncle Larry from TN. Jenny and David came with the kids

7/18/08 Grandma's here!!!!! Grandma, Grandpa Jay, Aunt Trisha and Uncle Mike, and cousins Kaitlin and Hunter arrive to meet Brayden. They seemed to fall in love with him instantly....no suprises there!

6/20/08 We went to the doctor today. Still no dilation....Dr. Tackitt says baby is REALLY happy up there, and doesn't want to come out. We are going in for ultrasound on the due date...6/23 to see how big baby is, how things are going in there, and what the chances are that we will be able to do
