Stories 11/11/05 So sorry everyone for the lack of updated pictures!! We seem to have misplaced our camera charging cord, and our camera is so dead it won't turn on! As soon as we find it, we will have some new pictures on here for you! 11/04/05 Well, I just thought I'd update all of you on our latest news... We are expecting another baby! The Lord has decided to bless us again and we are so thankful because now we know how wonderful children are! It was truly a surprise to us but we are thrilled. :) Please keep this new baby in your prayers as Tim and I get a little nervous during pregnancies! 11/02/05 We had a wonderful time staying up in the mountains in a beautiful cabin with Heath and Becca Copp! It was so fun to see them again and we are so glad that they came all the way from Minnesota! It's so nice to see familiar faces from home! Beau helped me greet and pass out candy to all the little trick-or-treaters Monday night! We had quite a few and we ran out of candy! I saw this little bumble bee costume on Ebay and couldn't resist buying it for Beau. It was fun to dress him up, the kids and their parents all loved him! Well, Beau and I are ready for Daddy to come home! We miss him! Tim is away in Alabama for a week for his job. We have a surprise for him when he gets home on Friday!
10/16/05 Last night was the first time Tim and I got to go out without Beau! It was fun to have a dinner date and not have to worry about feeding or keeping Beau entertained too! I have to admit I really missed him alot even though it was only for about an hour! All the grandparents have been wonderful babysitters when they are here visiting,(or we are there visiting) , but I wish they all lived closer so we could let them babysit more often! :( Well, we have to go get ready for our church's missions banquet tonight. Just wanted to post the latest news. p.s Beau is soooo close to crawling! Sometimes I think he actually does crawl when I'm not looking! 10/01/05 Well we have had many fun adventures in the last week or so! Beau and I went to Ohio and stayed with Rick, Natalie, and Noah Ross. We had a great time of shopping, strolling, and playing with the boys! Then we took a little family vacation to Asheville, North Carolina and visited the historic Biltmore estate. It was such a magnificent sight to see! The Biltmore is America's largest home and estate. It sits on 8,800 acres and was built in 1893 by the Vanderbilt family. Every room and hallway was decorated with imported woods, leathers, marbles, and much more! I wish we would've been able to take pictures of the inside! It looked like a castle where kings and queens lived! It was tons of fun, we will have to go back there again some day when Beau is old enough to remember it. The mountains in North Carolina were also breathtaking! Tonight we had a little fashion show with Beau and tried on all his little hats! We had fun and he loved all the attention and the oohs and aahs. Beau will be 8 months old in a week. He is anxious to start crawling! Although, he has not been in a hurry to do anything so far so that is fine with us.(except cut teeth!) I know we will be much busier running around the house chasing after him once he can crawl! 9/12/05 I'm sorry I haven't updated Beau's website for a few weeks! We have had alot happen that we need to catch up on... Gramee and Grampee Lott came to visit us for the Labor Day weekend. We had a wonderful time! They brought us fresh corn on the cob from Pennsylvania! They also spoiled Beau rotten and he enjoyed every minute of it! Beau has had a couple new friends join this world! Noah Riley Ross was born on August 19th, and Jackson Riley Dickey was born on September 7th. We are sure excited to watch these new little boys grow up and all be friends. Last night, (9-11) our church had a wonderful patriotic service downtown Knoxville in Market Square. It was called, "Knoxville Remembers". We had some hurricane Katrina victims there from the Gulf Coast states, along with thousands of other church members and visitors. It was a very touching service. I'm so thankful to be an American. This morning we all went for a lovely stroll before daddy had to go to work. We have to take advantage of our nice morning weather before the southern heat takes over the day! As I am writing this, Beau is laying in his crib, supposed to be taking a nap, and all I hear is shrieks, squeals, and giggles. I guess I better go check on him and see what he is up to! 8/23/05 Beau has cut two teeth now! He was running a little fever yesterday and I think it was because of his second tooth that was coming in. He will be eating steaks in no time! :) We got his 6 month pictures taken today. He did so good and was so smiley and happy! They sure turned out pretty cute. It is so hard to narrow the choices down and only pick a couple! The lady that took his pictures thought he was so adorable and said she wanted to use some of them for display and for flyers and stuff. Well, we are looking forward to having Gramee and Papee come down for Labor Day weekend! Beau is ready to see them and give them lots of smiles, hugs, and kisses! 8/21/05 Well after a couple hours, I finally got all the pictures on here from our trip to Minnesota! Beau and I made a 10 day trip up north and it was tons of fun! (Boy did daddy miss him!) It was so good to see all the family and friends up there. We even got to see cousins Rebekah and Haakon from Texas! Everybody sure enjoyed seeing how much Beau has grown and changed since the last time we were there! He was a little sick but he was a good trooper and still just as happy as could be! The older he gets, the more fun he is. He has started baby foods now, and he loves them! Our trip back to Tennessee was a little rough, but we are home now and it's good to be back with Daddy! :) 7/25/05 Beau has been experimenting with making different sounds! He has been doing Ma Ma and Ba Ba sounds now! Once in while he will make a Da Da sound but he is definetly going to say Ma Ma first! :) We got him a walker and that is his new favorite thing. He was getting bored with his swing. Only his tippy toes can reach the floor, but pretty soon he'll be able to scoot all around the house. Beau is 5 1/2 months now so I gave him a couple baby spoon fulls of pears! Boy did he love that! He would've eaten the whole jar if I let him. He has been waking up every night at about 3 am. He's been doing this for about a week now, so last night I decided he's going to have to cry it out and fall back asleep. I think I made the mistake by feeding him every morning at 3 am so now he thinks that's his new schedule! So last night he woke up at 3 like usual but I let him cry for a little bit and he went right back to sleep and didn't wake up till 8 this morning. Maybe I can train him to get back on his old schedule-sleeping for 12 or more hours at a time! I like that schedule better! Well, he is just as precious as ever and Tim and I could never imagine our lives without him now. I feel so blessed to be able to have Beau in our family. The Lord is so wonderful! 7/13/05 We had a wonderful time in Pennsylvania visiting all the family there! Beau got to meet lots of family for the first time! Some of the fun things that we did were.... Surprise Papee for his 60th birthday party! Meeting Aunt Red, Uncle Bill, Aunt Pat, Aunt Kathy, Aunt Jean, Rick, Janelle, and cousins Makenna and Madison Visiting Uncle Brian and Auntie Niki's new home in PA. and their church that Uncle Brian pastors Going to Kennywood, a fun theme park and riding the kiddie rides! Beau was spoiled with tons and tons of attention! He was a happy boy and matured so much during the few days that we were there! I think all the interaction with everybody made him mature a little! He is no longer content unless you are playing with him or holding him! Beau rolls around all the time now! He rolls from his back to his tummy, and then to his back again. He also turns himself around in his crib! When I go in to check on him or when he wakes up in the morning, he is laying the complete opposite way! Sometime Tim and I are going to go in his room and watch him do it!
7/1/05 Beau has graduated to the 4-6 month room in the nursery now! I actually just put him in his new room about a week ago. I have to admit it was a little sad leaving the newborn room! He is almost rolling over too! He is sooo close, I bet it will be just a few more days till he does it. I have been having lots of fun making pillows! Beau has been having fun trying to eat them! We are excited to have a little 4th of July party at our house on Monday. This will be Beau's first 4th of July! 6/16/05 Beau is taking a good nap right now so I thought I would take this opportunity to update his website! He has been growing growing growing and discovering new things every day. He continues to swim in a pool of drool has those little teeth work their way through his gums! We haven't seen any surface yet, but his pediatrician said it might take a couple months for them to actually pop through.
Beau enjoys being outside alot. He always likes it when we take him for a stroll or when we bring him outside with us and let him watch us weed the garden. It must be that fresh air that he likes. The weather has been pretty hot here lately so Beau is learning what a Tennessee summer is like! 6/8/05 Our little baby boy is 4 months old today! Wow, where has the time gone? I let him have a taste of my cherry popsicle for a special birthday present! He loved it and when I took it away, he started to whine and fuss! Uh-oh, I think someone's getting a little spoiled! :) I know this is Beau's website, but I just had to put some pictures of our pretty flowers on here! We finally have a flower garden and not a weed garden anymore! 6/4/05 Today marked another little milestone in Beau's life! He truly giggled and laughed today! It was so precious I almost started crying! He has made little giggle like noises in the past but today he was giggling like crazy! He reaches and grabs things all the time now. Tonight when we were sitting at the table eating dinner, he kept grabbing at my plate. He tried over and over again so I kept pushing it farther and farther away! 5/31/05 Well, we had a wonderful time with Bob and Marlene! They came Saturday afternoon and left Tuesday morning. Beau sure enjoyed all the attention! Someone was always wanting to hold him. We grilled out on Memorial Day and Tim and Bob fixed the leak in our roof. They got quite a bit of sun being up on our roof on such a hot day! It was a relaxing weekend. Beau was a spoiled little boy! He was so pleasant and happy the whole time they were here! I don't think he cried one time unless he was hungry! 5/25/05 Today Beau had a dr.'s appt. It went well. He weighed 12 lbs.12oz and was 22 1/2 inches long. He was a happy little boy and loved getting the attention from Mrs.Worthem, his doctor. We were going to have him get his shots today but since he has a picture appt. tomorrow, we didn't want him to be cranky and fussy for all the pictures. So, we have to go back on Friday for his shots. :( He's not going to like that! Hopefully he won't be fussy when Gramee and Grampee come to visit on Saturday! We want them to be able to see him how he usually is, all smiley and happy. 5/19/05 We think Beau might be teething already. He has been drooling alot lately! He will soak a bib in an hour! He has also been a little fussier than normal. So, he might just have a little baby tooth ready to appear! We have learned that he hates to be hot! So I take off his socks and pants and just leave his onesie on and he is happy as can be! We are looking forward to having Grammee and Papee Lott come to visit around Memorial Day. It will be nice to have a couple "babysitters" around! 5/10/05 Beau has been experimenting with making new sounds with his mouth. Today he started to stick out his tongue and make noises. It was pretty cute. He has also started to laugh! Once in a while he will get a cute little laugh out. It won't be long before he is giggling up a storm! Beau's hair has been looking sooo blonde lately! I was comparing some of the newest pictures of him with some of the first pictures on the website and there is a huge difference!!Today is his uncle Brian's birthday! Happy birthday uncle Brian! I love you!! 5/8/05 Beau is 3 months old today! It's hard to believe! He is changing every day! I think he's starting to look a little more like mommy now. Although he still looks alot like daddy! We had a wonderful Mother's Day today. I'm so proud to be Beau's mommy. He is so special and I'm so glad that he is here with us. I wish our baby girl could be here with us too but I know the Lord is taking good care of her in Heaven. Not a day goes by that we don't think of Belle and how much we miss her but that just gives us all the more reason to look forward to seeing her one day in Heaven. 5/6/05 Beau has been sleeping in the crib in his own room now for the last few nights! The monitors we have are great because his room is so far away from ours. I'm glad we started having him sleep in there because I wanted to get him in his own room before he was old enough to realize that he was sleeping in mommy and daddy's room. It feels weird going to bed at night and having him so far away from us! Well, Beau is taking a nap now and I'm about to get all the food ready for Natalie's baby shower tomorrow. Natalie and Rick are having a little boy and they're going to name him Noah. He is due August 15th.
