Stories 2/20/10 I went to the doctor today (almost 28 weeks) and everything still looks wonderful! My blood pressure was excellent, which I'm really glad about considering all the stress I've had lately. Camille is already head down and "ready for landing" as the doctor said. Not that she's coming anytime too soon, but it seems like she will know what to do when the time comes ! She's gonna be a smart one, I can tell :) She is between 2.5 and 3 pounds, and I'm feeling every ounce of it! Her kicks are also very strong. Caedmon got to watch the sonogram with us, and he said, "I see baby Meal's head!" Too precious!
2/2/10 We are getting so excited about baby sister Camille's arrival in three and a half months. I took a blood test last week to check for gestastional diabetes (which I had with Caedmon) but we found out today that I don't have it this time! We have her room pretty much set up with the things we have, it's pretty bare...but we'll try and spruce it up as we go!
12/31/09 What an exciting 4 months we have had in the States. We have traveled the country, seen friends and family, eaten alot of great food, and done some other fun things along the way. We are leaving in a few days to return to Jordan, and we are so excited to see how Caedmon adjusts back to life in the Middle East. Different language, food, music, and people. We hope now that he is talking alot that he will really start to learn Arabic fluently. We also can't wait to see what a great big brother he will be when his sister Camille joins us in the Spring!!
8/26/09 I guess exciting milestones are few and far between now since I haven't written a story in 2 1/2 months! Caedmon has gotten a few more teeth, he still loves to eat a lot, he had a bout with the German measles, and he is showing signs of the terrible almost 2's. But for the most part, he listens and does what you tell him to do...unless of course he doesn't want to, in which case he will tell you, "No!" We are getting ready to leave for home in 4 days! He can't wait to play with his cousins and I can't wait to take a gazillion pictures of them!
6/6/09 Caedmon had his 18 month check up today. He is 32.5 inches and 28 pounds, which means he gained 1.5 inches and 1 pound in the last 3 months. He is learning that we don't hit, bite, pinch, slap, head-butt, or throw toys at mommy. Never a dull moment!
