This is the miracle of life.
Mommy and Daddy met in late May 2002 and were immediately inseparable. We were married on September 10, 2005 and longed to start a family together. On January 9, 2008, we found out that our dream was coming true. Just one day before her due date, and two days after our 3rd Wedding Anniversary, our little miracle made her debut on September 12, 2008!
Her first name is Carmen, which is Latin for "song" and her middle name, Elyse, means "consecrated to God". She was born at 3:28 a.m. and weighed 9 lbs. 4.4 oz. and was 20.5 inches long. She has brown hair and blue eyes (for now!) and looks just like her Daddy.
Carmen is now ONE and is such a funny, smart and beautiful little girl!!
She loves to play and dance and is obsessed with all her books and with Elmo.
We are having so much fun as we help her grow and learn. Each day brings new excitement and joy for us, and Carmen has completely stolen our hearts.
We will update this website on a regular basis with pictures, stories and more, so that all of our family and friends near and far can see what our girl is up to!
