3 Mar 08 - Wow, it's been forever! I can't believe things have been so crazy around here. I figured maybe it was about time to update this thing again since I haven't been able to get our own website up and running. I've just been so busy! I'm working on starting the photography business I've always wanted, so that is taking up quite a bit of my off-time! I haven't quite gotten my website up, but I do have a site on Myspace. 9 Nov 06 WOW! Mommy has been SOOO busy lately! She has so many things to update, and so little time. She wanted to tell everyone that she is working on a new website, and hopefully she will have it up soon! She will let everyone know when it goes online! Well, let's see, what's been going on since the last update? Ummm...Brielle and I started going to a new babysitter this week. I have so much fun there! My new friend is Adam, he is 2 1/2 and I get to play with him ALL DAY! We even got to go to the park yesterday! And I got to play with PlayDoh for the first time this week. I have so much fun there that when I come home, I always play for a little while and then go to bed! I've been in bed by around 7 all week! Mommy thinks it's just from playing so much all day. What else is there? Oh, Mommy gave me a haircut a week or two ago. It looks a lot better (at least Mommy thinks so!) Daddy is out of town again. He had to go back to tech school, and won't be home for good until March. We're also going to Montana in March, and will also be moving to GERMANY!!! Mommy and Daddy got orders to Germany, so we will be leaving at the end of March! We're so excited! Even though Daddy is in tech school, he'll be home for the weekend! He also gets to come home for Mommy's birthday next Friday! YEAY!!! I miss Daddy. Mommy lets me talk to him on the phone when he calls, and I can pick him out of people in a picture! I love my Mommy and Daddy. Oh, and Grampa Sly asked if we did costumes this year. No, we didn't do Halloween this year. Since Daddy wasn't here, Mommy didn't was to have us out by ourselves. It would've been awfully hard for Mommy to take both of us around by herself. We will definitely do trick-or-treating next year, as long as they do it in Germany! If only on base!
14 Aug 06 Just a real quick update. We went to Arkansas to see Daddy over the weekend. It was fun. We get to go back at the end of the month for Daddy's tech school graduation. Mommy added a bunch of pictures from the trip. She will update more throughout the week, and post all the past stories that haven't been added yet!
06 Jul 06 Nu-Nu got into town today. She gets to hang out with me for a few days! I always like it when Nu-Nu gets to come and see me.
04 Jul 06 Happy Fourth of July !!! Yesterday we went to Ms. Shelba's house to watch the fireworks. At first I didn't like them at all. I started crying everytime one would explode. After a little while, I got used to them and didn't cry anymore. I was really tired on top of it all, but I wouldn't go to sleep, so I was kinda grumpy to boot. Grampa Sly and everyone had to leave this morning to head back to Illinois. It was really nice to get to hang out with them for a few days. I had a good time!
29 Jun 06 Grampa Sly got into town today! Him, Franita, TeTe Kyandra, and her cousin Kiara came to visit us and meet Brielle. I haven't seen Grampa Sly since we went to visit Daddy's family in Illinois last year.
21 Jun 06 MY BABY SISTER IS HERE! She was born at 1:32 pm! She weighed 7lbs 5(4.6 rounded up) ozs and she was 20 inches long!
13 Jun 06 Guess what?! My last two teeth have broken through! (Well, last two before the rest of my molars.) I now have 16 teeth! Mommy didn't even notice that they were coming in until we were playing on the bed and I smiled REALLY big, and Mommy spotted them! I look so grown up with all my teeth. Hopefully I'll be done for awhile!
11 Jun 06 Today we went swimming and had a really good time. I liked playing in the water, but didn't like it when I felt like I was gonna go under the water. I had to be holding on tightly to someone or else I kind of whined. But Ms. Shelba had this really cool raft in the pool, it was big enough for 4 adults. It had room on two of the sides for someone to lay on, and then in the middle it had this big mesh part where you could lay in the water and not have to worry about falling through. Mommy really liked the mesh part, because she could have me in there with her, and not have to worry that I would go under the water. I got to splash around and play for a few hours. Mommy liked that she could just lay in the water and not feel so heavy. It was really nice for her back.
01 Jun 06 Can you believe it's June already? I will be 17 months old on the 5th! And my little sister will be here soon! I don't know how well I will adjust once she gets here. Mommy thinks I will do well, I'm pretty good around Lil' Simon when I see him. I like giving him kisses and cuddling him. And when I got to see Azia, I was really sweet to her. I got a pretty bad boo-boo a couple days ago. I was playing on Daddy and decided to try and stand on him (he was laying on the floor), and before Mommy could catch me, I did a Superman jump off Daddy and face planted right into the changing table. It scared Mommy and Daddy really bad. I cried for a couple minutes, and then went right back to playing. Mommy wasn't sure exactly what part of me hit the changing table, and since I didn't seem too upset, she figured I was ok. Later that night, Mommy noticed that the entire right side of my nose was red and swollen. Daddy checked to make sure it wasn't broken, which it wasn't, and then he played with me for awhile. Mommy took some pictures of it that she's going to put up soon.
17 May 06 Yesterday, Mommy and I got to see Uncle Jerry! I hadn't seen him since July when we went to Denver! We went and had dinner, and I got to play for a little while. We went to the sit down Sonic in Bricktown. I had lots of fun playing with the phone they had there. I kept on putting the phone up to my ear and looking at the menu like I was trying to place an order. Mommy thought it was really funny. Anyway, when we were done eating, we dropped Uncle Jerry back at his truck and said bye. I was completely pooped by the time we got home (it was around 9:45!) I went to bed as soon as we got home. Then, this morning, I didn't want to wake up for ANYTHING!!! Mommy got me dressed, loaded into my carseat, and got me all the way to the babysitter's before I woke up! When Mommy took me into Kati's house, I just laid on the couch and chilled for a few minutes. I still looked kind of out of it when Mommy had to leave. Anyway, it was good to see my Uncle Jerry and get to spend a little time with him!
30 Apr 06 Guess what! I have TWO MORE TEETH coming in! That is a total of FOURTEEN teeth all together! They are the ones I was missing on the bottom. So now, I will have a full row of teeth on the bottom!
17 Apr 06 Well, my Easter was fun! We went to Auntie Roz's house and had lunch, then we had an Easter egg hunt! It was SO HOT outside! Aidan and Steff even came, so I got to play with Aidan all day. I'm not very good at the whole "playing" thing yet. I like to chase the other kids and walk behind them and push them. Mommy always has to tell me to stop pushing, and to not be a bully, but I never listen! That's ok, I'm a pretty good boy, so Mommy doesn't have to get on me very often. Anyway, after we had the egg hunt, we all decided to go to the sprinkler park. I didn't like it very much. The water was cold, and it kept getting in my face. I stood next to Mommy and held her leg for most of the time. Mommy hopes that once the water warms up a little bit, I will want to go swimming. One of Auntie Roz's friends has a pool, and Mommy really wants to go swimming as much as possible this summer. It's a good way for her to get exercise, and it will keep us all nice and cool. Anyway, my 2nd Easter was definitely a good one!
19 Mar 06 Well, Day took his first tumble from the big boy bed on Wednesday night. I'd gone to bed early, and woke up around 11 that night when Kiemon called me. I was about to lay back down when I heard this big THUD. Well I waited a couple seconds and I didn't hear him crying, so I thought maybe it was something else. I decided to check on him anyway, and when I peeked in the door he was sitting on the floor with all his blankets around him and just looked at me and said, "WHOA." It was so cute. I picked him up and put him back in his bed, and he went right back to sleep. He's so funny. As for everything else, I'm doing very well, I still don't have a big belly, but that's ok. I really want to watch my weight this time. I gained a lot with Dayrion, and I don't want to do the same with Brielle. For the whole pregnancy, I think I might have gained 5 lbs or so from my pre-pregnancy weight. I guess I'm doing pretty good. Dayrion is getting so big. And he's such a sweet boy, too. He has seemed to have a devilish streak lately. I think he's getting to his "Terrible Two's" while he has the chance.

01 Mar 06 Mommy and I played outside yesterday after we got home. It was so fun! I'm such a smart boy, I know exactly how to play with my Powerwheels! I can get myself on and off, and I know how to make it go! Mommy took a bunch of pictures and video yesterday. She tried to put the pictures on here last night, but something was wrong with all the Baby Home Pages. She couldn't even send a message to tech support! Anyway, it's 88 degrees here right now, so we are going to play in the yard again when we get home tonight! I love to play outside!
01 Mar 06 So, as of a few days ago, I have TWELVE teeth!!! I have my front 4 on both top and bottom, AND I have four molars! I almost have one tooth for every month I've been alive! I've been such a good teether too! Even with my molars coming in, I don't cry or fuss about it. I am always so entertained that I don't even notice any pain!
27 Feb 06 I got to go to the Zoo last Saturday (the 25th). It was so cool to look at the animals! We only saw the fish in the aquariums, the seals and sea lions, and the gorrillas (most of the exibits were closed by the time we got to them). The only one we wanted to see that we couldn't was the elephants and rhinos. I liked looking at the seals. They swam right past the window, and I squealed and laughed and banged on the glass. I thought they were so funny! We also got to see "Nemo". They have the clown fish there that look just like Nemo. Mommy didn't take very many pictures, she was too busy showing me everything, but the ones she did take she will post on here later (she's at work right now and the camera is at home!) Also, I love to give Brielle kisses and play with her. Mommy will pull her shirt up and I will give her kisses on her tummy. I even blew bubbles/raspberries on her tummy a couple days ago. It was so cute, Mommy couldn't stop laughing! I like to play with Mommy's belly button, too. Mommy doesn't like it very much though, sometimes I scratch her, even though I don't mean too. I even cut her a little bit last week, and she had a scab on the inside of her belly button! Most of the time I come up to her belly and pat it, like I'm patting Brielle on the back. Mommy can tell I'm going to be such a sweet, loving, older brother!
14 Feb 06 Wow, Mommy hasn't updated these stories in a LOOONNNGGG time! Well, first off, HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!!! Mommy got to stay home with me today, well, she gets to stay home with me ALLLL week!!! Lil Simon is even here. Miss Kati is sick, so we didn't want to get sick too, so Mommy is watching us. My first birthday was GREAT!!! I got cake and cool presents. Mommy can't believe I've been in her life for this long. And she couldn't imagine life without me! Our trip to Montana was really fun. I got to meet almost all my family on Mommy's side. I got to meet all my great aunts and uncles except for Aunt Sharon and Uncle Alan. I got to meet both my great grandma's, and my great grandpa (my other great grandpa passed away a long time before I was born.) I got to meet 5 of my second cousins, and one soon-to-be second cousin (my uncle is getting married.) We had so much fun, and I got spoiled SOOOOOOOOO bad! One yucky thing is that both me and Mommy got sick after only a couple days of being there. Mommy thinks we caught a bug in one of the airports we were in. I took my first trip to Chuck E. Cheese yesterday! I had so much fun! I got to ride a bunch of rides, and Mommy tried to help me play the game where you bonk the things that come up, but I didn't get it, so Mommy had to play. I didn't really WANT to ride rides or play games, I had a blast running around looking at all the blinky, flashy lights, and playing with all the buttons. Auntie Roz wanted to take me into the ball pit, but this CEC doesn't have one!!! That was kind of disappointing! Anyway, Mommy and Auntie Roz played a bunch of games, and got me a little basketball, it's cool. Mommy and I got our picture sketched; check it out, it's on the pictures page! It was a fun, but tiring day. I fell asleep in the car on the way home.
