Happy Valentine's Day!!
Please look around and then leave us a message in the guestbook so that we know you were here!
This web page was originally created to update friends and family about JD, our youngest son who was born with a rare condition: fetal hydrops due to Rh incompatibility disease. For the last three years, JD has seen many specialists, had many tests done, and continues to receive services through a special education agency.
He has the diagnoses of profound hearing loss in both ears, and global developmental delays. In the past he had a diagnosis of blind, however that does not seem to be a major concern at this time. He is an adorable, funny, and whitty three year old who loves to torment his brother!
Today, we use this web page to update our friends and family about our entire family, including updates about JD. The newest story will be featured on the front page and the older stories are featured in the stories section. Please enjoy looking around. There are many photos to show you how big both of the boys are getting! To read JD's story please go under the heading STORIES and it is story #1. (Click above for information on Rh Disease)
February 5, 2010 Well, the Scibona household made it through Christmas, three birthdays, New Years, and an anniversary! We have had a busy couple of months but things may finally slow down a little. We have very exciting news...we are buying a house and moving in March! Jason and I are so excited that we will finally have a place that is all ours! It is a little small but we have big plans for it:) We will post pictures when we get some. The boys are both doing good. Jordyn has made a lot of friends at school...mostly girls. JD will be getting his new hearing aids on the 8th! Hopefully we have luck with these ones. They are both doing well is school and both seem to enjoy it a lot...I guess that is better than them hating it. I have a feeling it won't be long before Jordyn looses his first tooth! There is not too much else going on...thank heavens! We hope that everyone is doing well and staying warm during this cold winter. I added some new pictures for everyone to enjoy! Love, Christina

Stories January 9, 2010 We hope that everyone had a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. Things are just starting to settle down after the holidays. It is always a crazy time of year but we love spending all of the time with our family and friends. We took the boys to see Santa a few days before Christmas. It was the first time for both of them....
December 5, 2009 I can't believe that it is almost Christmas! Thanksgiving was very nice. We had Jason's parents over for the whole spread. We also had friends that stopped by to visit. The boys seemed to really enjoy the day and all of the goodies that we had to eat. We decorated for Christmas the weekend after Thanksgiving. The boys were...
November 7, 2009 I can't believe that it is going to be the middle of November soon! Time is just flying by... We took the boys trick or treating over by my grandmother's house. We didn't stay out too long because Jordyn was just getting over strep-throat. He missed school for three days and had to go to the ER twice. Now he has a cold or s...
October 18, 2009 We took the boys to the pumpkin patch last weekend. The place we go to is really good for kids. They have a train ride, animals, and a fun house. The boys had fun picking out their pumpkins and then having popcorn and apple cider. As Jordyn gets older, the holidays are more and more fun. This weekend we had Berma and Poppy...
October 3, 2009 Jason and I celebrated our one year wedding anniversary last weekend. We rented a cabin in the middle of the woods, on a five acre pond. The place was beyond amazing. All the comforts of home minus all the business of life. It was great to get away...just the two of us. We went fishing in between the rain. It rained a lot. Th...
September 13, 2009 The boys have started school and we are busy getting them into a routine. JD is going to pre-school for half a day and Jordyn is in kindergarten for a full day. They both have to get up early to get ready but both seem to not mind this! Jordyn is loving kindergarten and has already made some new friends. He loves the fact ...

Our prayers are with you and JD. Hope he keeps getting good checkups. -Chris, Shawn, Chelsey, and McKayla Jones Hi Christina- I still check on you and something came to mind. I have a child with a cochlear implant. Is that a possibility for JD if he's totally deaf? I don't want to add more on you, but boy once his implant was in and activated he was like a new kid and starting talking within two months. I am glad to see you are doing OK.
