You 2 are the most amazing parents on earth . I wish all the luck to both of you 2. You know I am only one call away . I will help u guys out as much as i can. Sorry I can't drive there all the time like i would want too the gas prices are finally going down so i will be there more often then what i have been. I just wanted you to know that my prayers are with you and your family..You guy's know I am a quiet Neighbor and busy with my life...but I wanted to take this time on my day off to let you know that I am thinking of you...I stumbled on this link on FL1 today and I wanted to send my best wishes to you..Don't worry about what people say or think..For those that read this comment, This family is awesome and They are great with my own kids.MY kids love you guy's...Jason takes his time to play with them too!!!! and they aren't the kind of people to ask for something unless they really need it. So Christina and Jason, Give what you can't carry to God. and keep moving forward. Just know that you are in my thoughts and prayers..

Christina, we've only been able to talk in short spurts as you go through our lines at the grocery store. I just got done going trough the web page, and reading about everthing that is going on with your family. You will be in my prayers. I also just wanted to let you know, that I think you are a wonderful mother and a very nice person. The boys are always so happy, clean and VERY well taken care of. I watch as you take the time to smile and laugh at your children. To talk to them in a very warm and loving voice. You always manage to give us a polite hello and goodbye, and keep a frendly conversation going. Never would I have guessed that you were going through so much, untill I read this web page. You have mentioned that you know angels are watching over JD, Well God places us on this earth for a reason, and from what I can tell your one of the Mortal ones that he has placed here. The strength you have, is definitely being shown by the love you share. With Love

JD was under phototherapy for one week while in the NICU. The first thing they did when he was born was an exchange transfusion. In fact, he had that done before I even got to see him. It is not his indirect billirubin that is high now it is his direct. Once the indirect got lower than the direct, they have to stop phototherapy because it is no longer effective. Thank you for your concern and thank you for thinking about us. Just so you know, we are in the middle of getting things ready with a lawyer. He is gathering files and doing research now.

I have a question and maybe I am off base, but I want to try to help you.

Has JD been under photolight therapy at all and has a doctor ever mentioned an "exchange transfusion" to you to see if the billirubin counts go down?

I think of you often and was just wondering and want to help.

Plus, have you contacted an attorney to help you with this? My brother is an attorney here in Washington and believes you have a case.

I was browsing and found your site. JD is such a miracle. I can't beleive your OB didn't test your blood early in your pregnancy. I know you are thinking the man above for looking over your baby. When I hear stories like yours, I stop and think how lucky I am to have a healthy, beautiful son. May your days be brighter everyday that JD gets stronger and better!!

Hi! I found this website because you posted a story about precious JD on the Share website! I too, as a nurse practitioner, believe a lawyer is in order in this case. I am glad you found one! He is so precious and those darling curls on Jordyn are to die for. If your lawyer allows you, please keep us posted on first and foremost, JD's condition and then on the case as it progresses. You will be in my prayers! Let me know if there's anything I can do! We all at Share are here for you and rooting for you!

Your son is beautiful! And he is a fighter, you can see it in his pictures.
I don't understand how they overlooked that test either, but I would be asking... And I would get a lawyer involved right away.
Soon you will be taking him home with you, Till then, its OK not to be soooo strong, you need to release the hurt and anger you feel. I am sending all the positive healing energy's I can to you and your family..

I cant stop my tears rolling down. I just want to re-assure you that he will be fine. My SIL has gone thru this trauma and her boy is 15 year healthy teenager and girl is 10 year old heathy girl.
I am sorry, you have to go thru this but trust me everything will be just fine.

I have tears dripping down my face. Your story is a nightmare, that no one should ever have to go through. I have prayed for you and so have many other people. We are all strangers to you, but I have met Brenda, so I feel I know you. I met you too briefly one day at Brenda's, you and Jordan were getting ready to go swimming. He was just an infant then. He is beautiful, I know he is a little boy but he looks like an angel boy and he is beautiful. Boy or not! Your baby JD is also beautiful, and so healthy looking, so I know God has heard our prayers and has angels all around JD. I too am RH negative and lost a singlae birth and two sets of twins in my lifetime. The RH factor literally killed my babies and I only would get to my 4th month. I was lucky and had two full term pregnancies, giving me two beautiful daughters. In today's world this should never have happened to you. I have prayed for you as well and for Daddy and the gramma's. My daughtrer is RH negative and her baby boy is due July 4th, she is naming him Hayden Allen. Her husband is on a two week family leave as of the 30th in case she goes early.
Honey, I wish you and the baby the best od health through prayer. I know God sent angels for strength for you too. It is okay to cry, you have been through way too much.
Hang in there...you and JD are loved by strangers today.
