HAPPY NEW YEAR! Shelby, Dylan, and Mommie went to a neighborhood gathering for New Years Eve. Unfortunately, Dylan couldn't last till midnight. He only made it till about 11:45pm. But the neighbor's lit off a bunch of fireworks and Dylan thought they were pretty cool as long as mommie was holding him!!

Daddy went back to Turkey today. It was very sad to see him go. Dylan didn't really understand why he wasn't there anymore. He went into the room Daddy had his suitcase and came to me with his hands open wide and said "Mama, Da da, where go?" Daddy only has 6 weeks left in Turkey and then he will only be about 2 hours away so the kids will get to see him a lot more.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!! Shelby and Dylan had a great Christmas. Dylan got his very own football so now he can stop stealing the neighbors! He also got a little basketball hoop that will grow up with him. He also got a kids digital camera, a bunch of cars and trucks, and a interactive horse that he can use with the TV.

We went and picked up Daddy today from the airport. Dylan was pretty excited and ran right up to Daryl and grabbed his legs! Daddy will be here for a week and will get to spend Christmas with us!

We went to another Christmas Party tonight, except it was specifically for kids this time. Shelby and Dylan had a lot of fun coloring and decorating cookies, and finally getting to see Santa. Dylan really wouldn't go near him, so unfortunately I didn't get any pictures.

We went to a Christmas Party tonight. Shelby and Dylan hung out in the kids' room while mommie hung out with the adults. We all had a great time, but mommie waited to long to get our pictures because the kids were really tired and ready to go home. But it still turned out ok!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING! We had a little get together with the neighbors and it turned out really nice. Dylan pretty much tried everything, even pecan pie which he liked a lot! Him and Shelby went over to their friend's Nyla's house so Mommie could go shopping the next day!

It snowed today, alot! Dylan really wasn't too keen on it. He walked around and touched it but wasn't into it like Shelby was. I don't think he liked being that cold!

Dylan had a little Halloween party at school today. Then we went over to the Army base (Schinnen) for what's called Trunk or Treat. We strolled around a path that winds around the base getting candy from stations along the path. Shelby did all the "trick or treat" since Dylan can't say that much yet!

Dylan is so sweet and in tune with his sister's feelings. Shelby fell and hit her head pretty bad (pics on her site) so she was really needy and crabby last night. Dylan was so good that he didn't act up at and really allowed me to show Shelby the attention she needed, which usually goes to him. Then this morning, while we were waking Shelby up, he was rubbing her belly, then petting her hair, and even tried to give her kisses to wake her up. It was just the most precious thing I've ever seen him do.

Dylan's vampire teeth are coming in...and that's exactly what he is now. He has started biting me and kids at school, but hopefully we can nip it in the bud before it gets out of control. He's also got a temper and likes to hit or throw things when he gets mad or even upset. Needless to say he is a handful lately!

Dylan finished his first week in the Toddler Room. He seems to like it though it is a lot more stimulation than he is used to. He is in a room with a lot of kids up to the age of 2 and 1/2 , and needless to say, it's pretty busy.

Dylan is going to be moving up to the toddler room on the 29th of Sep. He's going to be with a lot of his friends that have already moved up. Although he's going to be the youngest in the toddler room, he won't be the smallest. He's actually bigger than a lot of the kids already in the toddler room!

Dylan had his 18 month checkup today. To say he's healthy is an understatement. As usual he is in the 90th percentile. He weighed in at 30lbs and is 34 inches tall. He's growing out of his 18 month clothes and is moving into 24 month clothes for the winter season.

Dylan is getting into a little bit of trouble at school. He has a neighborhood friend named Tyler who is 2 months older than him. They spend most of their time following each other around and doing what the other one does. Only problem is they like to wrestle a lot and Dylan ended up taking that to school. Only at school he tried wrestling with a little girl named Charlotte. She didn't seem to appreciate that too much!

Dylan has finally cut his 18mth molars. It's been a long time coming and he's been a terror while they've been coming in, but it's almost done for awhile! At least till the next set come in.

Well, we took Daddy back to the airport today. We were all very sad to see him go. We had a lot of fun and played a lot while Daddy was here. He will try and come back for Christmas, so we'll be counting the days till he comes back.

We went and bought a new Beagle puppy for our family today. Dylan isn't quite sure what to make of Sissy. She likes to tackle Dylan because he's the closest one to her level. She also pounces him when she gets him on the ground. I think he'll warm up to her.

We got our pictures back and they turned out AWESOME!!! I am going to mail some off to the grandparents tomorrow, so look for them soon! I posted them here for everyone else to see how beautiful my babies are!!!

We went and picked Daddy up from Ramstein yesterday. Dylan walked right up to him like he saw Daddy all the time. I know it made Daddy feel really good. Daddy will be here for 3 weeks to take care of Dylan, Shelby and Mommie, so mommie can recover from her back surgery.
