Well Today my baby started Kindergarten, well actually he is in a K-1 Class. He scored very high (first grade level) on his Kindergarten entry test so they chose him to be 1 of 8 students to be part of the K-1 Combo class, It's a very big compliment because they hand pick 8 students out of 60+ students to be part of this special combo class. It's an accelerated class where he will be basically doing more 1st grade work then Kindergarten. There are 8 Kindergartners and 12 First Graders, And if he does well in the class he will basically go straight to 2nd grade next year. I am such a proud mommy!  Dylan was really excited to find out he made it into this class and so far he loves it. He is really excited about it. I just hope he is up for the challenge. I still can't believe he is already in Kindergarten. They grow way too fast.  Madelyn is growing like a weed, she already has her own little personality and it's mostly DIVA!! LOL - She LOVES her big brother, And man is she growing big, she eats like a 5 month old, LOL She was in the 75th percentile at her 2 month check up weighing 11lbs and 11oz, She will be 3 months old this Friday and I am sure she is well over 12 lbs! But we are having so much fun!!  My boss is letting me work M-W-F 8am - 1pm for right now so I am getting a lot of time with my munchkins and I am enjoying every minute of it!!

Well I just got back from visiting Greg, Brittany, Hunter & Ava in El Paso. Me & Tiff flew out there to see our new niece and visit Greg, Britt & Hunter. My Dad, Jen, Brandon Haylee, Gramps and Grams also went but they drove out there. Me & Tiff were a little nervous about the flight - well I was a  little nervous, Tiff was TERRIFIED!!!  But we made it there and home safely!!!  Thank God!!  We had the most wonderful time!! It was awesome and I am so glad I got to go. I really wish Dylan and Rod could have gone..Dylan would have had a ball with Hunter and He would have just loved Ava!!! But hopefully he will get to see them in November!!   It was a fast trip but we all had a ball together.
At the airport on the way there my boarding pass was "marked" with a "random code" so I had to go through this "special" process where I had to step aside and they had a woman do a pat down on me and she had to open up my bags and go through all of my luggage!!  It was crazy...cause apparently I look like a terrorist...this random crap is ridiculous...they should racially profile...cause I can tell you right now that I am not a member of the Taliban :)   But I can bet the bad people don't get those random "pat-down" codes on their boarding passes!!!  Anyways....enough about that. Once we finally got to El Paso, We just had a blast. We played pool, we ate, we played pool, we played with Ava, we ate we played pool, we went to Brittany's parents house for a wonderful dinner...Thanks to the El Paso family for having us over and for the wonderful dinner...it was yummy..and a lot of fun. We also visited the base, oh and we went to this really cool store..you may have heard of it before...It's called Target!!  Where we all had a ball shopping for cute girly clothes and spoiling our niece, nephew, and grandkids!!  We did have an interesting little bit of excitement though...We discovered early Saturday morning that Hunter and left the cage open and his Hampster had ESCAPED!!!!  We all searched High and low for that hampster for 2 days, but it wasn't till right before we left on Sunday that Haylee found it in the closet in the play room and Greg caught it and put it back....that was fun!!  :)

Greg & Brittany told Tiffany she had to move to Texas because she has the magic touch when it came to putting Ava to sleep...it was so cute..Tiff would hold her she would stop fussing and sure enough every time she would fall right to sleep!! Greg was a little ticked because every time he held Ava she screamed!!  Don't worry Greg she was just Hungry....lol.....I'm not kidding...Brittany wasn't kidding when she said that all Ava wants to do is eat....that little tiny baby girl would eat for over an hour, be happy and content and awake for 30 mins and then scream to eat again like she hadn't eaten in years and she would eat for another 40 mins to an hour...and this was a continuous cycle!!!   I don't know where she puts it all...she is so tiny, but so adorable you just wanted to squeeze her.  :D   All in all we had a great time visiting and just hanging out....... Thanks Greg & Brittany for letting me crash at your house and taking us all over the place and disrupting your lives for a few days....we really enjoyed our stay and we hope you guys get to come out and visit really soon because I miss you already and I know Dylan is dying to meet Ava and play with Hunter!!!

Yesterday my baby turned 4!! I can't believe how fast time flies. Especially when your having fun!! We had a small party for him at Peter Piper's pizza. If you weren't there, I'm sorry. We only invited Dylan's Grandparents, Aunt's, Uncles and first Cousins. We would have loved to have the WHOLE family there, but parties are just so expensive.
Dylan had fun, he liked the games and the presents and Cake. We got him his first two wheel bike, he calls it a trick bike cause it has pegs, so one day he will be able to do tricks with it - Someday in the far far far away future!! :)

Yesterday he assured me that just because he is 4 now that he won't be moving out because he is not a man yet. He is too funny. He comes up with the craziest things sometimes. And man is he active now. He doesn't stop, anything, moving, talking, asking questions. His brain is constantly working, it is amazing. He is at the age now where he asks 1001 questions every second, I try to answer them all, but some of these questions he asks, I don't even know, but I don't dare tell him that, I usually make up some creative answer so he doesn't think mom is stupid!!

We had a parent teacher conference today and she informed us that he is doing great in school, he tested at the top of his class for his age group. She said he is constantly showing improvement in every area. It is amazing how much he has learned so far this year in head start. He is already writing his first and last name all on his own and he is starting to learn how to sound out words. It is crazy how young they have to learn how to read and write now a days. They start learning to read in Kindergarten. Crazy!

Anyhow, That's about it for now. Hope everyone is doing good! We will see you all soon.

Happy New Year!!!

I hope you all had a very Merry Christmas and an exciting New Year!!   We have been very busy since the last update. And since Christmas all of us have been sick. I was in bed the entire New Year Weekend and Now Rod has it. But hopefully it will pass soon and we will be done with illness for a while. I hope this finds all of you well.

I added 72 new pictures from all of this Holidays events. It started with decorating the tree, Then Dylan had his first Christmas program and party,  there was Casual Christmas at Ed & Kitty's. The DWP Christmas breakfast, Dinner at Northwood's for Rod's birthday, Christmas Eve, Christmas at my Dad's house at 6AM Christmas morning. Our first Christmas Morning at our new house right after that, Christmas Day with Rod's family and by the end of that day Dylan was so sick and we were so tired that we had to go home and go straight to bed, where I think we have been ever since. However I did wake up at 11:50pm to ring in the New Year with my boys and some sparklers. Dylan was going to strong he had a ball screaming Happy New Year and doing the sparklers. Then it was straight back to bed for me.

I also added a few videos from Dylan's Christmas program, New Years and a funny one you don't want to miss.   J

Enjoy!!

Well it's been a while since my last update, things have been a litte crazy and we have done a lot so far this month and we are not even close to done yet.

We went to see all the lights on that street in Rancho Cucamonga. I can?t remember the name of the street, but it is long and everybody that lives there decorates their houses crazy. The houses were really neat, I don?t think the pictures do them any justice; you should go see it in person. It was really fun. We went with Lynette, Phil, Megan, Tiff, Clint, Lukas, Cole, Robert, Andrea, Lina, Jacob and Joseph. And when we were done we went a got a pizza at roundtable. Yummy!   It was a really fun night.

Then last weekend we went to the Winter Wonderland in La Verne. They bring in all this snow for the kids to play in. There is a slide where they can go down on a sled. They have a donut and hot chocolate for each child, crafts and you can take a picture with Santa and Mrs. Claus. They also have a really neat Sleigh ride through their tree farm. It was so much fun. Dylan had never been in the snow before that. He really loved it. I think he mostly liked throwing snowballs at people, especially Rod and me.

We have also gotten our tree and decorated the house, which was really fun. Those pictures are coming soon!!

Well Dylan started preschool yesterday. He loved it. He did so good. He has already made a friend, his name is Joseph. They hung out together the whole time. You will see him in a lot of the photos. :) Dylan is really excited and he is so excited to go back everyday. I was so unsure of how he would be by himself, but me and Rodney kind of hung around the first day and then today we left at 1 and Rodney went back at 2:30 to pick him up and he was having a blast, he painted a picture, they play outside and they had quite book time. I am so glad that he likes it, I was so scared that it would be difficult for him making it difficult for me. But it wasn't and I was so glad.  The only battle was getting ready, he had a fit because daddy brushed his hair very nicely and he didn't want it that way, he wanted it straight down, so after all the gel daddy put in it he brushed it straight down and that is how it stayed!! Argh!! Kids!!

Dylan got a little pool that mommy enjoys just as much as him in this heat and we went to a Quakes game the day before 4th of July where they put on a very neat fireworks show. So enjoy all of the new pics. And don't forget to sign the guestbook, we love to read all of the comments.

Now you may want to make sure you are comfortable and that you have some time to spend, because since I waited so l long to update there have been MANY MANY events that have occured. First and formost we have had 2 new additions to our family. Megan Elizabeth who was born on May 6th, 2006 and Cole Christopher who was born on June 21st, 2006. So of course there are a few pictures of those cutie pies. Then there was Lukas' 2nd Birthday. Tiffany's baby shower, Father's Day and most recently we had a very nice trip to the aquarium. So sit back, relax and enjoy the pictures of the recent events in Dylan's life.

Happy Easter!! I hope everyone had a great holiday!  We had a very busy but very nice Easter! It started out with the Easter basket that Dylan got from the easter bunny, and as you can see that bunny goes WAY overboard! =) Then he went out and found all of the eggs that the easter bunny hid for him. Then we got ready and went to Grandpa Ed's and Grandma Kitty's house. That was fun and again more food, candy and toys. So needless to say Dylan has had more candy today than he has had in his whole life. And YES he is still up right now boxing his father as I write this story at 11:01 pm!!!! So I think it is time for me to go and put some children to bed!!  =)  Goodnight all and I hope you enjoy the pictures!

Well Christmas has come and gone! I can't believe it. All that shopping and stress and it's over in the blink of an eye. Our Christmas was pretty good, to say the least. Christmas morning we got up extra early and went to Dad's house at 6:30AM, opened presents and got to see Santa when he drove by the house in the fire truck. Then when we came home we found that Santa had visited while we were sleeping. And man was Dylan excited. It's amazing the difference a year makes at this age. He was so thrilled with everything Santa brought him, he can't stop talking about it. We finished opening gifts and then got ready because Rod's family comes to our house on Christmas. I wasn't feeling too hot that afternoon, and it was a looooong day! But other than that it was a fun one. Dylan and Christian had fun playing, they both got Buzz Lightyear action figures so they were having a blast. And I got a new Digital Camera so I had fun taking pictures and video. Rodney played his new video games every chance he got, which wasn't all that much seeing as how we all got up so early. By 6pm, Dylan was falling asleep in his cereal, Rodney was falling asleep playing video games and I was just feeling yucky, so we all turned in and called it a night. Today was just a lot of recovery, cleaning out the toy box to make room for all of the new stuff, which as you can see from the pictures was a little insane this year! Also cleaning out Dylan's closet to make room for his new clothes. My boss gave me Tuesday off with pay as a christmas bonus, so tomorrow me and Dylan are heading over to Tiff's house to have a play date. I added 25 new pictures from all of the festivities. I want to thank everyone for ALL of the great gifts Dylan received. He is a lucky boy to have so many people who like him so much!! :) Hope you all had a very Merry Christmas!!

We have been pretty busy since I last updated the site! Last weekend we had Haylee's Birthday Party, She is 6 now! Then on Thursday we went to the fair. Dylan had a ball, he loved all of the animals but his favorite thing was at the Los Angeles fire department booth. They had people there who were putting the kids in the fireman jacket and hat and then their parents could take their pictures. He was so thrilled to be able to dress up like a fireman, he even got to hold the hose. He is always telling me he wants to be a fireman and help people. He is so funny, he had to sleep in his junior fireman badge sticker last night!  He amazes me more everyday. He now knows his phone number and he almost knows his whole address. Every night I sing him to sleep with "You are my sunshine", Last night he sang it to me, the WHOLE song, all by himself. It was the cutest thing I have ever heard!!

We had a great Holiday weekend! On Saturday we took Dylan to Disneyland for the first time! He had a blast. His favorite thing was Meeting Mickey Mouse!! He was so excited. He walked right up to him and said "Hi Mickey Mouse", it was so cute! He went on the jungle boat ride, pirated of the caribbean, The Winnie the pooh ride, Roger Rabbit's spinning ride, the haunted mansion and It's a small world. His favorite one was it's a small world, but he really enjoyed all of the rides, I was very surprised! He seemed a little scared at some parts of Pirates, but as soon as we got off he wanted to go back on.  He is STILL talking about it so I think he had fun. Anyhow, I have put some pictures from Disneyland up. Hope everyone had a great Holiday weekend! See you all soon!

Well we just got back from our vacation. We went to Big Bear for the week! Dylan had a blast!! And so did we! We headed up there on Sunday, but you know us, always late, so we got a LATE start! We took hwy 18 out and right before we started up the mountain a BIG storm hit and we headed right into some bad weather, Thunder, lightning and rain! I freaked out because it was dark and the 18 tends to flood, not to mention I was seeing lightning bolts HIT HE GROUND! It was a little too much for me. Thank God Rodney didn't listen to me and turn around! We made it through (of course!) And we got to the cabin just in time! Right after we got back from the grocery store a storm came in and we had thunder, lightning and Rain like I haven?t seen since we lived in Arkansas!  (That's bad!)  But it was all good because we were safe at the cabin this time!! The next morning we woke up to a beautiful sunny day! But we took advantage and just relaxed! Then on Tuesday we headed downtown and Dylan and Daddy played in the arcade - we discovered that Dylan is rather good at that 21 game where you roll the balls down and they have to fall in the holes to make 21! He got 21 twice in a row! Who knew! Then after the arcade we got some ice cream at the North Pole Fudge shop and then Dylan got a Big Bear T-Shirt! Then we stopped by the park for a while before going home for dinner! On Wednesday we took Dylan over to the zoo! He had a blast, he just loves animals. The bears were even out playing in the water and putting on a show, it was really neat! On Thursday we got up REALLY EARLY!   6AM!!!!  And headed out to the Alpine Trout Lake. I have never been there in all my years going up to the cabin, and let me tell you, it is a REALLY NEATplace! If you ever go up there and want to catch ALOT of fish, I suggest you try it out. Just beware, it costs $7 to enter for up to 6 people and then it is $5.50/lb of fish you catch, you have to keep whatever you catch! But you don't need a license and you are guaranteed to catch a fish! We had a blast. Dylan caught his first fish and so did I!!! he he  We fished, I packed a lunch and they have picnic tables, so we ate lunch, then fished a little more, Dylan got a t-shirt (of course) and then we headed home around noon to relax because we had 6pm reservations at the Holloway's Marina Pirate Ship lake tours. Another thing I have never done in all of my years visiting Big Bear and yet highly recommend if you visit there. It is $15 for adults, kids 3 and under are free! It is a 90 Minute tour around the lake and the captain gives you a lot of interesting facts about Big Bear and some of the houses around the lake!  It was FREEZING and windy but it was AWESOME!!! Dylan had a blast and of Course he got a pirate t-shirt too!!! By the time we got home that night we were pooped, so we made dinner and crashed! Friday we just got up and relaxed a little bit and headed home! It was a much needed and very fun-filled vacation! We had a blast!! Thanks grams and gramps for letting us use the cabin, we love it there! I have obviously added a TON of new pictures from our trip, and believe it or not the pictures I added are not even a third of what I took! I went a little crazy! Well Enjoy! I hope everyone is doing good! I am sure we will see all of you very soon!

Happy Birthday to Grandpa - July 20th & Hunter - July 21st

Better late then never right!   Surprise Surprise!! Another BUSY weekend! I know I know, it's already Wednesday! I've been busy trying to recover from the weekend. So this is what we did...We started it by taking Uncle Brandon to dinner and bowling for his birthday on Thursday. It was very fun and Dylan even got a strike. But we also learned that 1 game is the limit for a 2 year old in a bowling alley!  :)  Then Friday night we went up to Puddingstone campgrounds to hang out and have dinner with the family, we do this every year the night before the family picnic. Then of course Saturday is the Annual Algorri family picnic. It was EXTREMELY HOT!!! But the the Pina Colada's were very nice! Thanks Lynette and Phil! Have you ever tried to get more than 50 people togther in one spot at one time long enough to get a GOOD family picture??? It is almost a joke!!! But we DID IT!! It was a lot of fun. BUT it doesn't end there..nope, Sunday afternoon was my my dad's surprise 50th Birthday party!  GREAT JOB Jen!  He was very surprised! And everyone had a good time and the food was yummy!!!  OH and I forgot on the 23rd, we had Hunter's 1st birthday party from which I still havn't added the pictures. So today I am adding about 100 pictures from all of the fore mentioned events. And I am not exagerating!!!  lol So ENJOY!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY AUNT BRITTY!!!!

Well this weekend was a nice one, Saturday we went and visited Grandma and Grandpa Algorri and Brandon & Haylee, then today we took Dylan to Mother's beach. I had forgotten all about it, until a few weeks ago and and I thought Dylan would love that place, I know we did when we were younger. We spent everyday there in the summer when we were growing up. So we packed up the car and headed out. And I actually remembered how to get there, with a little help from my dad, who basically only told me to take the 605 until it deadends into the 22, but once I got that far I remembered how to get there, I was pretty amazed with myself seeing as how I havn't been there in about 13 or 14 years. But we got there and boy did Dylan have a good time. Him and his Dad built sand castles and went in the water and he even got to eat some junk food, cause after all what fun is the beach without junk food...right? And now he is crashed out after a long, hot day playing in the sand. I put up 23 new pictures from today,And yes I brought my camera to the beach!!! So Enjoy!!  See you all soon!

I hope everyone had a fun and safe 4th of July. Ours was fun! Dylan was a little freaked out about the fireworks but all in all he had a good time. We started out at Ed & Kitty's house and had a nice time visiting with everyone and eating some GREAT food!! Then we went next door to our neighbors house and saw a BUNCH of fireworks. It is kind of like a war zone in this neighborhood at the 4th because everyone around here has illegals. But we had a lot of fun. Yesterday however I got a little surprise when I got home from work, Dylan had NO hair left. Rodney shaved his head so they could be twins. It took me by surprise but I think I just need to get use to it. He looks so old with no hair. But he loves it and that's all that matters, right?!  So there are some new pictures from the 4th and some of Dylan's new haircut!  Enjoy!

Well it's been a long time since my last update and boy has it been a busy few months. With all the weddings, 1st Birthdays, graduations, birthdays and Retirements we have been very busy. So there are a lot of new pictures. Dylan is now almost 28 months old. I can't believe how fast the time goes. He is so smart, he picks stuff up very quickly, he can repeat ANYTHING he hears, and boy does he. You really have to watch what you say around him. He is quit the character, he loves dancing around, he loves playing his drums and jumping in his bouncer. With all the heat lately he has been in the pool a lot too. He has also learned how to open doors so we can no longer trap him, he can unlock the door and open it !  Oh well!   It was fun well it lasted. I can't believe how much his little brain can absorb, it seems like he learns something new every 5 minutes. He can count to 20 in English now and still to 10 in spanish. He can identify the words hat, cup, bug, Dylan and mom. He loves to draw and now he is working on learning his phone nummber. He is getting very bossy lately and knows exactly what he wants and man if you don't give it to him he throws a fit! But the time-outs have been working very well so far. Thank God for Super Nanny. All in all he is a good boy and I am beginning to really like this age where you can talk to them and they understand you. I just him to pieces!!

But I know they will be back here again soon.  And of course there was the most recent event, Jen's surprise Birthday party. Dad, you did a good job, I think she was REALLY surprised. It turned out great, we had a lot of fun. Greg, I hope your birthday wasn't too bad, I know Iraq wasn't your location of choice.
