Schools Back in!
Colby started monday 18th,
Samantha starts tuesday 19th,
Angela starts (HR classes) Sept 9th,
Anna will go back to daycare, too.
Although summer is officailly over for this family, we did have some good times before it ended. Christy and her family left early 8/16. Very sad for me. It was great having the kids play together.
8-14 Fun in the sun? We started at Dunham park for the first hour, before the pool opened. The kids played well together. then headed to the pool, swam a bit, had our picnic lunch and swam again. It was cut a bit short due to the weather, that sucked. But it was a fun 3 hours.
8-15 Went out to dinner with Christy and the family at Gold Star for dinner, then said our good-byes. I finally broke down (and was doing so well!) they weren't leaving until the morning, but I figured it would be easier on the kids, and me, to say goodbye then.
8-16 Last time with all the kids at Dunham swimming pool. It was a really nice/hot day out. Got over there after Anna woke from her nap and stayed til dad got off work and joined us. Were there for about 5 hours.
8-17 Jamie and I took the girls to Dunham park and played in their sand pits one last time before school starts. Anna really didn't like the sand moving under her feet when she walked.
Also, we have a new addittion to our family
his name is Mookey
He is a stray that wondered up to our house and after about three days being outside, ventured in one night. He has only been in the home about 2 days. But I do believe he is staying now, we will see.
Prayers needed...
8/10 Jamie and I are trying to get a VA Loan right now. We would like it to go thru before Oct so that we can be set up in a home of our own (preferably Oak Hills dist) before Christmas season and HR Block starts back up again. So just keep a prayer in there for us that all goes smoothly and quickly! Thanks again.
8/15 Also, my Uncle Bob has been going thru surgery. So give some prayers up to God for his quick recovery and strength for him and my Aunt Marie.
...STILL NEED...

AUGUST
8-02 Our dear friend Amber got married!
CONGRATULATIONS
Mr & Mrs Ciamarra
8-03 Sunday we had a relaxing hour at the veterans park. When I say 'relaxing' - it was anything BUT! Took the dog, so we couldn't stay as long, way too hot. Kids started off on the soccer fields with dad (finally the pink soccer ball from christmas got REAL use!) Then we headed to the playground for Anna and Colby and I played some REAL CRAPPY hands of badmitten. (We so need practise!) It was fun and got the kids all hot and sweaty (and SO tired - talk about 'hidden agendas'!)
8-07 Just a fun day with all the kids. Went to Winton Woods sprayground for a little bit and then hit Olive Garden for lunch. The kids usually get along great! Sammy just adores lil Jeffrey! Its great to see tham all interact.
8-08 Jamie's day off, we took the babies to our pool, Dunham. WAY TOO COLD! But they still all had fun. Little Jeffrey really latched onto Jamie and of course when we went to lunch lil miss jessica had to sit by uncle jamie.
8-10 Stricker's Grove. It was really quite fun. It is an amusement park, self owned. Small and family ran. Very cool. The lines werent terrible, sam was able to ride everything (with someone) and anna went on quite a lot with sister and me. She really didn't care for the rides once they started to move! Except the mini-roller coaster "turtle", she liked that one! It was a good afternoon.
8-11 Spent the afternoon over my mom's with Christy and Dan and all 4 J's! Spent some time at the house, then headed to Veterans park. Josh and I played some badmitten (did pretty good, too!) while the kids played soccer and ran the playground! Then headed back to mom's for a grill-out (inside.) It was fun.
8-12 Spent the day with my sister and kids downtown on Fountain Square. Kids had fun going round and round the fountain. Then had lunch from the hotdog stand guy. Kids enjoyed feeding (anna chased) the birds, til we were 'asked' not to feed them. There went that fun! Went up to the top of the Carew tower (don't think Dan was all that comfortable with the babies being that high up.) Think the kids loved it though!
JULY
7-04 we went to a co-worker of Jamie's. Mike and his wife, Anita were wonderful! They live in Indiana, so Jamie and I bought and set off LEGAL fireworks! We went over there in the early afternoon, had lunch and dinner (very nice spread!) Sammy had fun playing with their twin daughters (age 9.) Colby got lucky and played video games the whole time we were there! It was a very nice fourth of July. We finally got home around midnight.
7-05 was Samantha's "Spider Party" that you may have been lucky enough to been invited to. Samantha came up with this idea about 2 months ago. She wanted to throw a surprise spider party for her Daddy. (We are not quite sure why yet, none of us like spiders - including sam!) Anyway, she finally got to throw her party. The invites were adorable and the party was a cute little thing! She made spider decos and a brownie/spiderweb and even spider PB roly-polys!
7-13 We went to St. Martin's Festival at Harvest Homefest (5 minutes from the house.) It was fun. Bought both the kids braclet-ride passes, unlimited rides for 2 hours. Sam went on some real dare-devil rides and Anna had fun doing the bouncy castle and the big slide. Played the kid games, and of course some games for us! It was a good way to end the weekend.
7-14 Christy and the kids finally arrived late last night (13th). Me and the girls headed over first thing in the morning to see everyone. The kids got along great! Anna wouldn't leave little Jeffrey alone, kept trying to pick him up from behind. The older ones were awesome also. It is good to have them home!
7-15 Had an easy day at home today, espcially after my fall I took yesterday ( read on my family spot.) After Anna woke for her nap, we headed to my mom's house to go swimming with ALL, even my dad was there visiting. It was nice. Except for the boys, the whole family was together, its been awhile. After swimming (of course there are pics) we went home to eat dinner and then I took the girls to Greaters to share a banana split! YUMMY! (Don't tell Jamie, he doesn't know...yet!)
7-17 Went to Miami White water Sprayground for the afternoon with christy and the Js.
7-19 Drove up to Dayton to visit Jamie's parents and celebrate Samanatha and Grandpa Bob's birthdays.
7-22 Went Putt-Putt Golfing with my sister Christy and the 3 Js (Jordan, Jessica and Jeffrey.)
7-23 HAPPY BIRTHDAY SAMANTHA! She had a very busy and present-filled day! (Read the story page to hear all about it.) Started at home, went to Kenwood mall to do B-A-B, get ears pierced, then lunch with daddy, home and then a surprise party!
7-28 My daddy flew out, back to England. (Miss you daddy!)

8/17 So the other night I was out with my sister, Christy, and Jamie called me. Said we had a problem, a small little kitten had wondered up to our porch and was outside whinning. When i got home we gave him a couple of treats, poor thing was starving. The next two days I left a bit of food and some ...continue story
8/07 I was driving christy and all the kids to Winton Woods for the after noon, and being right down the road from Jamie's work, I figured we would drop in and say 'hi'. Just as I pulled into Car-X parking lot, my sister started to ask "What are we doing here...?" She didn't even get to fi ...continue story
7-23 Sam's Birthday. What a funfilled day! It styarted bright and early before Jamie left for work. She knew she got her 'big' gift. Which was a new desk. Then there were about 10/15 items wrapped that went with the desk, new color books, paints, crayons, markers, stamps, notebooks, you name it!

7-22 Putt-Putt Golf. WHAT A MESS! Sammy and Joran did really good. Their scortes weren't as bad as I expected iether. Of course, once they hit 6 tries I stopped counting, or it would have been worse! Sammy under counted and Jordan over counted! I would count the shots and if I came up with, say 8 Sa ...continue story
