How do I add pictures to my site?
You can use a digital camera, scanner or a CD. Most film developing
facilities give you this option when you have your film developed.
1. Log in to your administration area, and click “Pictures”
under “Edit Your Pages” on the right.
2. Click “Add pictures.”
3. Click “Browse” and select the pictures on your computer.
To select multiple pictures hold down the CTRL key on your keyboard
while clicking on the picture files.
4. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select a current album or
create a new album.
5. Click “Upload” and Enter Captions.”
6. After your pictures have finished uploading, you will see the
pictures you just added along with areas to enter a caption, feature
a picture on the front page, or choose to not display a picture
on your site.
7. Click “Upload All” to add them to your site.
How do I add a new album to my pictures
area?
There are two ways to create a new album:
1. Go to the Pictures page in your administration area. Click “Create
New Album” towards the bottom of the page on the right side.
Enter the album name.
OR
2. Add a new album while you are adding pictures to your site.
How do I add pictures to an album?
At the bottom of your Pictures page in your administration area
click on the album. Drag and drop the pictures at the top on to
the album at the bottom.
How do I sort all of my pictures?
On your Pictures page click on the "Sort" link next to
"All Pictures". You can drag and drop one picture at a
time to put them in order. To move a picture to another tab siimply
drag and dop it on to that tab. It will be placed in the first spot
on that tab.
How do I sort the pictures in an
album?
On your Pictures page click on the the album you want to sort at
the bottom. You can drag and drop one picture at a time to put them
in order.
How do I delete a picture from an
album?
Open the album and click on the X in the top right corner of the
picture that you would like to delete.
How do I delete a picture from my
site?
In the All Pictures area, click on the X in the top right corner of the
picture that you would like to delete. To quickly delete many pictures keep one hand on your mouse and the other on the Enter key.
I am unable to add pictures to
my site. What can I do?
If your browser or computer is not able to use to our advanced picture
uploader you can still add pictures to your site using our basic
picture uploader. To use it go to the page where you add pictures
and click the link on the far right that says "...use the basic
picture uploader".
How can I tell which pictures are featured
on my front page?
Those pictures will have a red checkmark on the top left corner.
To remove them from your front page click on that checkmark.
How do I add pictures to my front or stories
page?
It’s simple to add pictures to pages on your site by following
these steps:
1. Click the ‘Insert/Edit Pictures, Audio, & Video’ button  . This button is on the front page, family page, and stories page editor.
2. Click ‘Select Picture’.
3. A pop-up window will appear. Click the picture that you want to put on the page.
4. You can adjust the size and other setting if you wish or just click OK.
My pictures are not in JPEG or GIF
format. How can I change them?
If you have Windows you probably have Windows Picture Viewer on
your computer. Just open your picture and click "Save".
It will allow you save it in a few different formats. If you do
not have Windows, there most likely is a similar images editor on
your computer.
My pictures are blurry, what can
I do to make them clearer?
You can get clearer images if you resize your original images before
you add them so that they are smaller. Just keep the file size under
200K and have a resolution of 72 DPI.
OR
If you are on a dial up connection that uses some sort of compression
to "speed up" your Internet connection you pictures may
look a little blurry. Juno calls it "speed band." If that
is the case try turning it off when uploading a picture.
How do I edit or delete the comments
that visitors left for a picture?
If the comment was left less than 2 days ago, there will be a link
on top of that picture that reads "New Comment." Otherwise
it will read "Comments." Clicking either link will allow
you to edit or delete the comments for that picture.
What do all of the icons on top of my pictures
mean?
Depending on your options the following icons could be on top of
certain pictures. Here's what they mean

Under "All Pictures", clicking
on this will delete that picture from your site.
Under "Albums", clicking this will delete it from
an album, not from your site.

This indicates that the picture is featured
on your front page. To remove it from your front page click on this checkmark.

If the picture has a comment one of
these will be be displayed.Click on it to edit the comment.
If there is a comment less then two days old it will be shown
as "new". |
How do I order photo prints?
When viewing your site go to the pictures page and view the larger version of the picture that you want to order as a print. Click on the picture to see a menu of items you can can order.
I just added pictures to my site. Why can't I order prints of them?
It can take up to 10 minutes after uploading your pictures for them to be available to be ordered as prints.
