Stories So I have been slacking on this web site, with the new job and Hope growing so much it has been hard to keep up. Also we joined Facebook so I put most of the stuff on there. However to catch you up, Hope is walking now. She usually goes about ten steps before she falls but she is doing great. Won't be long before she is running around. I have had a very long week. First it was Mother's Day and I had to be good ALL day, it was very exhausting. Luckily my friends Tyler and Kelli came over to keep us company. Tyler's Dad had to work at Bonefish too. Then I went to Grammy's for two days and although I was very good and kept Grandpap laughing I had a temperature the whole time. I loved on Grammy sssooooo much that I think I might have gotten her sick. Daddy took me to the doctor's today because my temp got too high. I have a double ear infection and now I have to take this really pink medicine. It should make me feel better. I am going to share it with my grammy because now she is very sick.
I went to the beach today for the first time. My friend Tyler turned 1 today so we celebrated it at the beach. The water was cold, and murky and I didn't like it too much. But I sure liked the cupcakes and fried chicken. I think Mommy had fun too. Daddy blew up a HUGE pool for me in the back yard and I think he and I will play in it on Wednesday. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TYLER!!!! It has been a very busy month for us. We have been traveling everywhere. First I spent a weekend at Grammy and Grandpap's while Daddy rode his motorcycle to Aunt Jenni PooPoo's house. He went for his birthday. He turned 30!!!! Mommy went to Uncle Leighton and Aunt Paulina's house for the weekend. Then it was Easter and we went to Uncle Leighton and Aunt Paulina's . The easter bunny found me even though I wasn't at home and gave me lots of pretty new clothes (thanks Aunt P). Then I went to Gainesville with Mommy and Uncle Leighton for my very first football game. Go Gators!!! THEN cuz Mommy had a conference in Orlando I got to spend the weekend with Grammy and Grandpap again!!!! I cut a tooth while I was there and learned how to clap!!! This past weekend Mommy and I were so happy to be home we stayed in our pajamis the whole weekend. Hope everyone had a great April!!!! Mommy got a new job and she starts on Monday so we are going to Uncle Leighton's again so she and Aunt Paulina can go shopping. I got to sing Rock Band (cuz that is all Uncle Leighton does) and then he made me a big tv screen and I got to watch my favorite show. Mickey was HUGE!!!! We had lots of fun and on Tuesday I get to go to Miss Debbie's house everyday. I love it there because my boyfriend Tyler goes there as well as my new friend Dominique. It is the first day of Bike Week and there are bikes EVERYWHERE!!!! Daddy is so excited he gets to ride his new bike and he has lots of friends coming over for the weekend. Mommy and I are going to Uncle Leighton's because she said the house will be filled with stinky boys!!!! So I get to chill by the pool with Aunt Paulina and Daddy is going to ride around with his friends!!!! Had another busy weekend. First Mommy and I went up to the Speedway for the Daytona 500. You can hear the cars going around and around all the way at our house. And when the Blue Angels fly over it is really loud. There were a lot of crazy people with bright clothes on. Everyone had numbers on their shirts and hats. Uncle Leighton say that 88 is the best number but Auntie Val says that 9 is the best number. Mommy wouldn't say which was better. Go Junior!!! Then on Sunday Daddy and Mommy took me to St. Augustine. Daddy says there is a better fort somewhere else but the stores were cool and everyone stopped to look at me in my cool sunglasses. We had lunch at a great pub and I got a new sweatshirt because it was cold. I have been to lots of parks and festivals this weekend. I went to Blue Springs with Mommy, Grammy and Grandma Shari. We saw lots of manatees and the weather was beautiful. Then I went to the Mount Dora arts festival with Mommy, Kelli and my boyfriend Tyler. There were ALOT of people there and everyone loved me in my sunglasses. Probably because I look so cool. The Steelers won the Super Bowl and although Mommy and Daddy were there in Tampa tailgating with Uncle Leighton and Aunt Paulina I got to watch the game with Grandpap!!!! While Mommy and Daddy were away partying I got to have a two day slumber party with Grammy and Grandpap. Two whole days with them ALL to myself!!! It was AWESOME. Mommy says she went through withdrawl but apparently she survived. Now Mommy and Daddy are both happy because both of their football teams are Champions!!! New Years Eve was lots of fun. Mommy was acting funny I think it must have been something she was drinking. I got to visit my Uncle Leighton and Aunt Paulina for FIVE days. That was my longest trip away from home so far. We had fun and played rock band all weekend long. I got to play with my friend Mya and her brother Sam. My first Christmas was wonderful (except for the being sick part)!!! I got to spend three whole days with Grammy, Grandpap, Aunt Jenni PooPoo, Uncle Nate, Cousin LaRae and Daddy!!!! Mommy and I were VERY sick and had to go the emergency doctor. But we still had a great time. I got lots and lots of cool stuff. Of course my Uncle Leighton and Aunt Paulina got me great stuff (the coolest gator outfit I can't wait to grow into) and Cousin LaRae brought the coolest jumper swing I have ever seen!!! Daddy was off for 3 days and we played and played and played. I of course slept through Christmas morning but I was sick so I needed to rest. This week I am going to my Uncle and Aunt's house to celebrate New Years Eve. Daddy has to work so I will have to kiss Uncle Leighton instead. Happy Holidays everyone!!! This past weekend was busy, busy, busy. First I went to Grammy and Grandpap's to help Mommy make perogies on Friday. We had to make lots and lots because Mommy ate some over the summer when she was having a perogie craving. Apparently it was the first time anyone ever got Grammy to cave in and cook them on any day besides Christmas Eve. I was a big help, Grammy said so. After that on Saturday I wore my lucky gator socks and of course the Gators won and we are off to something called a national championship game. I don't know what that means but Mommy is VERY happy. Then on Sunday I went to the first of many Christmas parties. It was for Daddy's work and I met lots of other Bonefish people. I was a big hit and a very good girl. It seemed that everyone loved me. Now I am exhausted and must save up energy for next weekend. I have another party to go to!!!
Thanksgiving was so much fun. Mommy and Daddy cooked so much food (beer can turkey and ham!!!) and Grammy and Grandpap and Ferg came over. We ate and laughed and napped and talked and watched football all day. It was fantastic. Well it was another busy weekend for me. Friday night Mommy spent time with John so I got to have Grammy and Grandpap all to myself for SEVEN whole hours. We had so much fun. We played, and told stories, had bath time and had all kinds of great adventures. And Mommy only called twice the whole time. Saturday Mommy and I went to Uncle Leighton and Aunt Paulina's to watch the Gators stomp yet another football team. Mommy was happy. She says we won because I had on my lucky socks again. I had great fun meeting new friends (Gary, Donna and Matt) and of course Uncle Leighton and I had great fun. Aunt Paulina says when I am older she is taking me somewhere called Macy's. I don't know where that is but she says that it will be great fun. I of course was fantastic in the car the whole way to Tampa and the whole way back to Daytona Beach. I am getting to be a seasoned traveler. One day I hope to get on a plane!!!! Had another road trip this weekend. Daddy had the weekend off which was AWESOME!!!! We went to visit Uncle Leighton and of course we had a gator party. We won of course because I had on my lucky gator socks. It was lots of fun, my Aunt Paulina bought me a beautiful dress, no matter what my mother says, Aunt Paulina is going to keep me pretty and prissy and looking like a girl!!!! I sure love her. Hope to see them soon. Happy Halloween everyone!!! I got to go trick or treating with my godbrother John. He was a gangster and I dressed up as Sabal. I got lots of candy for daddy and was awake for the whole thing. The halloween lights everywhere were really cool and I can't wait for the holidays, mommy says the lights get better. I hope that everyone had a safe Halloween. I had my first Thanksgiving dinner at Mama Sherie's house. Because she will have to work on Thanksgiving she had her dinner early so that all of the family could be together. I got to meet all of my "sisters" Veronica, Nicole, Jennifer "Sissy", and Erika. I know that anytime I want to do something girly and mommy won't take me that I can count on them!!! The ham was fantastic too! This past weekend was very big for Hope. She took her biggest adventure yet with Grandpap, Grammy, Mommy and Daddy to visit Cousin LaRae for her 1st birthday. She was absolutely fantastic during the whole trip out there. Eight hours in the car and she never cried once. She was so excited to meet her Aunt Jenni PooPoo and her Uncle Nate as well as meeting her cousin LaRae. She had her first stay in a hotel ( a fancy one that Grandpap got for her) and got to meet her honorary Grandma Shari. She and Grammy laughed ALOT!!!! The party was great and she thinks her Aunt is AWESOME and can't wait for Christmas to see them again. The car ride home (another 8 hours) was pleasant as well and involved no crying (although there seemed to be alot of pooping - just ask Grandpap). Needless to say her first GRAND ADVENTURE was fantastic. Hope went to her 2nd Doctors visit today! She is well and can't wait to get her shots next month, lol. She gained 2 lbs and weighs 10lbs 9 oz now and is 22.5 in long, what a lunker! She is in the 75% for weight and head size and 95% for her height! She is going to be tall like her mommy and the Dr said her blue eyes will stay! I wish all of you could get to be around Hope. She is the sweetest, cutest baby and such an easy to please one also. She makes these little grunts like clearing your throat that is so funny to hear, but she does them all the time. Then if she starts to wiggle you know you are either going to get a poopy diaper or (thanks to the Sikora genes) a loud stinker! We kept checking her diaper all the time till we figured out the Sikora guts thing. I am having so much fun getting to know her and do my Grammy thing with her. It's a piece of Heaven getting to hold a baby while she sleeps in your arms! I Love You Miss Hope! Grandma
