HUNTER PAUL!!!!!!! You got your first real pet buddy daddy's not particularly fond of Cats but if you and mommy like him I guess that will be OK. Halloween is just a few days away tell mommy you can stay up all night eating candy, it'll be ok daddy said so. I LOVE YOU BUDDY. Today was the first REAL sandstorm we've had the visibility was probably about 50 feet, what a day to go for a drive, the colonel flew up north but couldn't get back so we had to drive up there and pick him up it's never fun being on the road, it's even less fun when you can't see anything. We still dont have a date but its somewhere around 67 days left how nice to be able to count days instead of months. The colonel is still flying which is nice it gets boring at times, but I'd rather be bored than on the road its getting closer everyday and the unit that will be replacing us is here just seeing them around is great soon we will pass our duties on to them and they can have this place and we can go home. I went thru the pictures today and noticed a particular picture I saw Hunter looks a lot like Ryan when he was little. I can't believe he let you put that monkey suit on him Brit. Are being good boy for mommy, I hear you gave her a fat lip the other day, thats not very nice, but it is a little funny, you have to be nice to mommy she takes care of you. Well all is well here in wonderful Iraq yesterday were the elections for the constitution, hopefully it will pass and "we" will be one step closer to getting out of this country, but I don't think it is going to pass, at least thats the word, well I have less than 90 days now its hard not to count when it gets so close. Are you wearing it everyday to practice trick or treat? I liked the little red devil, too! I remember Peepaw was a Panda at your age! We recycled that costume for years! It finally feel apart when we got to Uncle Chris! What costume is Mommie wearing? I am not going to wear a costume but I am going to a big party on the 29th! Our good friends always have a Dia de los Muertos party and all of us bring candles and food for the our family members who have gone to heaven! We all build a great big alter to remember them! Lasts year there were about 60 candles blazing! The house that they live in is very, very old and has lots of big spooky trees surrounding the old rock home in the Upper Valley! The party is not spooky though! We all have a wonderful time and some of the guys in the group have a band that plays in the guest house! If you are ever here for that night I will take you with me! You can wear your monkey suit and I'll be a witch! Your Mommie and Camille used to think that I was a witch when I would take all the hairpins out of my dark hair and it would spill down all around my shoulders! I would chase them all around our old country home and they would scream bloody murder! Ask Mommie about that! I sure wish that you and Mommie were going to Fairhope this weekend to celebrate Tia Julie's and Camille's birthdays! Maybe you will surprise us and come! I will leave here on Thursday the 13th and fly through the sky toward your house...but the planes doesn't go that far! Have you talked with Daddy lately? I understand that you have lots of new words to say and I can't wait to have a little chat with you! I think that GiMiMi will be a bit hard to say but I hope that you'll get the MiMi part out! I have enjoyed this time more than I can express, Hunter and I have bonded once again it's going to be very hard to once again walk away from him and Brittany, but the silver lining is its only for a short time this time will go much faster I think. 3 months and I'll be home it will be a very busy 3 months as we will be getting ready to come home soon and helping our replacements get to know the area then pack up, clean up and go. With the holidays around the corner I'm sure time here will go faster as well, but it will also be a hard to have to go through the holidays seperate.
