How about that for job security! And all that time he never had a paycheck! And also, Texas Monthly Magazine in the March issue said that he was one of the very best brokers in West Texas! There were only 44 out of thousands! That's pretty good, isn't it! After the celebration we went back to the hospital to see Nicole Patricia and your Tia Carmen and Tio Chris! They are very happy with their new little baby and do plan to KEEP her! She weighed 7 pounds and 1 ounce and was 19 inches long! Just about the size that you were when you were born. Mimi has had three VERY busy days and has stayed up VERY late and has to go to a meeting in the morning...so I am going to say goodnight to you and Mommy and HEY DAD...how does it feel to be in a palace! One of my friends has a nephew stationed in one of Saddam's palaces in Bagdad...and sent a photo home of himself swimming in Saddam's pool! I do hope they changed the water! Love to all.... - GIGI-MIMI Hi, Guys...I just came home from Las Palmas Hospital and little Nicole Patricia Taylor was born at 9:21 (+19 seconds) p.m. tonight! Carmen (naturally), the new Papa, Chris, Peepaw and Mimi were waiting for her when Dr. Padilla and the nice nurse, Jeane, delivered her! She has dark hair (not too much of it) and what looks like blue eyes like yours, Hunter! We don't know how much she weighs and how long she is yet, but Jeane guessed about 7 pounds and 6 ounces! She is very, very cute! Everyone was really excited. But it is late now, about 11:25 p.m. and I am tired so you will have to wait for further details until tomorrow! Well the internet has been down for a few days and not much has really happened I went to the city yesterday for an Iraqi ceremony for some Iraqi police that died I had to set up the PA system for it that was interesting I didn't understand a word, and after they had tables full of food but it looked like more flies than anything so I passed, the Iraqis didn't care they were just gathered around the tables chowing down, no napkins no plates no utensils just hands tearing the chicken or whatever it was apart it was quite an interesting site. I've been taking quite a few trips down to the city lately for various things a few days ago I tried my first Iraqi food I had some kind of sandwich with some kind of lettuce and what looked like hush puppies it wasn't that bad actually but I'll stick to american food. The next day when I down there I was with the colonels personal escorts waiting for him to come out of a meeting and there were Iraqi kids everywhere they would come up to us and ask us for things, like money and candy, one little boy came up to me and asked me if I wanted to buy this blanket he was holding I said no thanks so he persisted to try to sell it to me he said "20 dollars not much" I said "no thanks man" his response was F*** Y** I was shocked he couldn't have been more than 8 years old I said "WHAT?" he said it again I told him to get the hell out of my face before I get really mad, I couldn't believe he said it to me and he knew what it meant too. When I came back to my FOB I told my boss what happened I told him not to send me down there anymore or I might beat up a little kid. Well I was told today that I might be going up north to the the brigade commanders radio guy he lives in a Palace in Tikrit so I might be living in a palace soon that will be nice but like everything else they've told me here, we'll see. But anyways I gotta get back to work love to you all. All our plans have changed regarding going to Auntie Lauri's...she's going to stay in the house another year while starting prerequisites for nursing school and then starting her nursing course. Bubba's not a goner yet...he's coming home next month and Lauri will keep him for a bit longer! Hunter...Bubba is your Auntie Lauri's giant German horse who she ride while all dolled up in a fancy outfit! You'll have to ask her about that. He will have a very nasty habit of following around the rest of your life, through good times and bad, in glasses, in puddles, on tabletops and most of all in mirrors! He's a crazy guy alright! He will get bigger and bigger as you do and if you cut your hair, he'll cut his! HE'S A GREAT BIG COPY CAT! And guess what? All of us...Mommy, Daddy, YaYa, PeePaw, all of your relatives and EVERYBODY IN THE WHOLE WIDE WORLD has that nosy 'ole copycat following them wherever they go! That's pretty strange isn't it? That's worse than all the photographs that we all take of you. At least those, if we don't look our very best in them, can be put in a book or a drawer and they go away until we come across them once again. But THIS GUY....boy, is he NOSY! He'll follow you around the rest of your life! His sister, MISS R.E.FLECTION, has been following me around for years and years and years! She really does strange things when I put on my make up! She sucks her cheeks in so she'll look skinny and she trys to put lines around her eyes and gooey stuff on her eyelashes to make them look pretty, but she usually messes them up quite a bit. AND WHEN SHE PUTS ON HER LIPSTICK...BOY, IS THAT A LAUGH! Her mouth looks like she sucked on a lemon and then turns RED! Well, it is most interesting that you discovered hime on March 29th, 2005! That's pretty young for him to come into your life, but you'll get used to him after awhile. He can be a bit gooney at times, but just smile at him and I guarantee that he'll smile back at you! Now that you've found him he be with you the rest of your life so you better learn to like him! Congratulations on finding a new LIFELONG friend! I love you very much...and I even love MR.
