HAPPY EASTER!!!! hope you had a great day....we thought about you today and really are looking forward to seeing you:) cute picture of you Brittany:) and Hunter I cant believe you are standing like a big boy!! you are growing sooo fast!!! Lukas and Dylan are really looking forward to playing with you!! - grmpa&grma Algorri Hi Hunter! Congratulations on your first tooth......Naomi's is so close to the surface, but hasn't yet come through! She is anxious to get hers!! Happy First Easter!! - www.babyhomepages.net/xenthiusHi, Cutie Pie...I see that you've developed a little "kissie" swirl in your hair on the top of your head. All of your great-uncles had them...I always used to plant a big smooch on top of their heads where the hairs grew in a little squirly circle! They always had lipstick on their heads! I hear that you are taking Mommy, GiGiMoo and YaYa on a trip to see ghosts tonight! That sounds very spooky! I'm glad I don't have to go...I don't like spooky movies at all! I wouldn't mind going out in the swamp with you and Daddy and PeePaw though...I do like swamps! Snakes and all! You just have to be VERY CAREFUL to let all the swamp critter have all the space they want! After all, it's their home, not ours! Well, we'll wait awhile for that! I love you, little Munchkin, and I wish that I were there with you and the girls exploring that beautiful part of the country. God Bless you and Daddy and Mommy! - MimiGigi Happy Easter!! It is hard to believe it is already Saturday. We have had such a great time here in Savannah. It is really a beautiful city and the weather has been beautiful (most of the time). It rains unnatually hard here. I have only seen rain like this in Louisiana amd it is scary. Brittany does really well driving in it. If it were me, we would still be parked on the side of the road driving back from Hilton Head. You can't see anything in front of you but steam it looks like. I can't imagine having to be out in it like Greg when he was here. It also looks really snakey, yuk! If PeePaw were here he'd be searching for them all with Hunter. It is absolutely gorgeous, though. The parks are unbelievable. I would be in them everyday. The flowers and trees are like something out of a picture book. Brittany is wondering about something to plant on her back patio, and I told her pretty much anything will grow there. Everywhere it is flat it looks like land, but it isn't. It is all marsh. Lots of alligators, too. We have seen lots of things. Charleston was awesome. Gigimoo and I hope to definitely come back and spend some more time there. Some of the homes are a hundred years old and incredible. Great history! Of course Hunter is only 8 months old and unbelievable. We have enjoyed him immensely, and he has been so good!He has a wonderful home and great mommy. We are so happy to have spent this time with them. We are going on a ghost tour tonight to top off the trip, I can't wait (Hunter will probably be laughing the whole time). Well Greg, we missed you here, but would have probably worn you out. We are thinking about you and are really glad we get to hear from you as often as we do. Next Easter hopefully we all can be together. Again, Happy Easter to everyone! Love, YaYa - I had to leave you a message to comment on his lil Easter outfit. Ohh how cute I just love it. He is such a cutie pie. You two have been truely blessed he is just adorable!! I think he's goinna be a heart breaker when he grows up. Many many blessings to you and yours Happy First Easter Hunter. babyhomepages.net/babyflores - ~Liz Flores~ HUNTER PAUL!!!!! Hey buddy you look pretty good in your Easter outfit. I love seeing pictures of you everyday it brightens everyday from the start. Isn't chicken dance elmo cazy???I LOVE YOU HUNTER. BABY-I LOVE YOU AND I MISS YOU SO MUCH GIVE HUNTER PAUL A BIG HUG AND KISS FOR ME - DADDY Hunter, Are you ready for the easter bunny to come to your house and bring you all kinds of goodies? You look very cute in your easter clothes. Did you like the easter bunny? You look very handsome, we can't wait to see you. Tell your mommy we said hi and give her a big hug for us. Talk to you soon! XOXOX LOVE YOU! - Aunt, Crystal Uncle Rod & Dylan Oh my goodness Cutie! I love the pictures of you in your Easter outfit. Did you have fun seeing the easter bunny? I hope lukas is a good boy for his easter bunny picture like you were. Well, we can't wait to see you, be a good boy for mommy. love you!! - Tiff I loved the new pictures....Hunter...you look like The Sheik of Arabie with your shorts on your head...have PeePaw tell you that story some day! You look better as yourself, of course! I loved your photo with YaYa & GigiMoo on the bench at the park! That is surely one for keeping for everyone's memory book! Don't you love the grass and the leaves....look down a bit further and I'm sure that you'll find some lovely pink earthworms to play with....just don't snack on them! Believe me, they are not spaghetti! But they are nutritious, if you like the taste. (Such a crazy great-grandmother, aren't I?) Be sure tht you don't do as I say nor do as I did! I talked with PeePaw today to remind him to go to the doctor to have his physical! We all want to make sure that he's around to see your grandchildren, don't we...and YaYa, too! He sure does miss you! I also talked with Tia Julie and Camille. They were VERY DISAPPOINTED that you and your Mommy could not go to Fairhope for Easter but were happy that you had so much company. I also talked with Tia Lauri...she wishes whe were in the South with you and your Mommy...she really wishes she were anywhere where there was not snow. I guess SNOW will be one of your new experiences someday. It is really pretty when it is falling from the sky...like crystal flakes...and it is so pretty as it mounts up a flake at a time until it is as deep as your little waistline....but THEN...it is COLD and WET...and MUSHY...and you want to go into the house so very quickly to warm your fingers and toes. So, I hope that you will wait just a bit longer and then you can experience all the big boy snow games with your Daddy! I'm sure that he went to Big Bear Mountain in Los Angeles when he was a little boy...or even to Lake Tahoe. There is LOTS of snow there. You must ask him all about that! Well, it's sleepy time in El Paso, so I will say good night to you and your Mommy, YaYa and GigiMoo right now. Lots of love and have a wonderful trip to Charleston tomorrow! Love as always from me and Victor. - GIGI-MIMI Wow!The pictures in the park were so pretty! They look like professional Easter pictures! The one of you and Hunter is great, you should definately frame that one! See you guys soon. Love, - Gene, Christina, & the Boys Hi guys! The pictures of you all at the park are so pretty, the flowers and the grass are beautiful. Hunter is so stinkin' cute! I can't believe he held hands with a little girl! How cute is that?! well we can't wait for your visit, less than a month now. See you soon. Greg- We miss you, keep beeing safe! Love you guys!!! - Tiff Hi, Hunter and "the girls"...it was really great watching you all have fun in Forsythe Park...just think...only "yesterday" Rhett Butler and Scarlett were wandering around the cobblestones and parks where you were today! I so loved seeing the beautiful lavendar azaleas in the photos...made me very, very homesick! Well, back to my geraniums in the patio! I try to recreate the south but have to work so terribly hard at it! Greg...I so enjoyed reading your most poignant comments about Samarrah....I know it must be heart wrenching to see what your comrades are doing out on the streets on a daily basis...and how the Iraqis are seemingly embracing a new culture....let's all pray that all of your efforts come through as we all wish they will. Boys and girls, good night, and may peace and happiness and safety be with you one and all. Mimi - GIGI-MIMI Hunter- P.S. I think it is so funny how you can just fall asleep anywhere, you make me laugh! I love you! - Aunt Crystal Hello Hunter, Well, It looks like you are having fun with your YaYa and Gigimoo (I hope I said that right) I am glad to hear that. We are all looking forward to seeing you next month, I think Dylan and Lukas are the most excited, they can't wait to play with you. The three of you are going to have so much fun together. Greg, I enjoyed reading your story, the watch story was funny but terrifying, just reading it I was terrified for you like I was watching it happen, I could see it in my head. That must have been an interesting yet very scary situation. I don't like to hear that you are traveling around over there, that always scares me because of all the shooting and bombings that go on over there. It is very sad to hear how those people have to live though, I couldn't imagine. Well I am glad that you are ok and I liked reading your story, I was just thinking that havn't written in a while so it was nice to see that. Anyways Be safe! I Love you all! - Crystal Dear Greg, We had such a fine visit with Brittany and Hunter before they left. Everyone agrees Hunter is such a remarkably well behaved baby. And such a fine one. You are very much in our thoughts. Take care. Love, Nancy and Walter Taylor - Nancy and Walter Taylor Gregory you are in our thoughts and prayers. We're glad to hear that your in a good spot there. Well, as good of a spot as you can be. We all will be glad when your home! Bradley has been filling in for you during the YMCA dance:) He will need some pointers next time you come. We went to the handball club dinner, the YMCA came on, and I swear he looked like a miniture you! Well, take care of yourself! Brittany & Hunter it's getting close to your visit! See you soon. Love, - Gene, Christina, & the Boys HUNTER PAUL!!!!!! Looks like your having fun with yaya and gigimoo. Your alrady getting the ladies, thats my boy!!! I miss you buddy I LOVE YOU . Well it has been a busy few days I have been going back and forth to Sammarra trying to get things set up down there , phones, internet cable tv, some of the luxuries we have here that they don't there so I have been working to bring them up to speed, I thought where I was is bad I feel really bad for the guys in the city, they stay in a old abandon building in the city right on the river they have no dinning facilty like we do and no PX, so I sure don't mind trying to get them a phone and internet down there. As I was talking to some of the guys down there they told me that they have 20 guys staying there and they rotate listening to the radio for 3 hours pulling gate guard and then still pulling patrols out in the city, I couldn't imagine having a schedule like that, but I told them if they needed some help down there to ask for me I would be glad to go down there and give them a break on the radio shift so they could do what they do in the city. It would be hard but if they can do all that then I could help them out a little. On our way back from the city yesterday we heard that the Iraqi Army was in a gun fight and lost some men and then the Iraqi Army had just passed us coming in to the city so as I was Travelling with the Major and Sergeant Major they turned around to find out what happened as I was sitting in the truck with sergeant majors driver and gunner waiting for the MAjor and sergeant major to do their thing a couple of Iraqi soliders walked up to me, they can't speak much english, just a word or two, one of the guys pointed at his knife like he wanted me to buy his knife I said no thanks I don't have any money, then he happened to see my watch and he pointed at it and pointed at his watch like he wanted to trade watches I said no, he said "Italy, Italy " and took it off to show me closer I just smiled as not to anger him because he may be in uniform but I still trust no one here, but I said "No I like watch good watch" and I was kinda hoping they would go away then the other guy standing there showed me his watch and pointed to my watch I said no, good watch I like watch he shook his head as if he understood and then they both just stood there and stared at me I just smiled at them as I was thinking "God I want to get the hell out of here" they eventually wandered off thankfully, the driver looked back at me and sadi they deal with that on a daily basis, the Iraqis just want anything american. We finally left and headed back to the FOB as much as I don't like it here I can't help but feel bad for these people, they don't have running water some don't have houses they live in tents or just build walls no roof no floors just dirt and bricks stacked up and we have completly taken over their city we have check points everywhere and barbed wire all over the place to direct traffic where we want them to go, I couldn't imagine living like this. As we drive down the roads out of the city people are just standing by the side of the road just to see us and waving and smiling, it does make me feel good that I could be part of making these peoples lives better, but i still want to go home. well theres my story for the day. love to everyone. BABY I LOVE WITH ALL MY HEART. I MISS YOU LIKE CRAZY - DADDY HUNTER PAUL!!!!!! Looks like your having fun with yaya and gigimoo. Your alrady getting the ladies, thats my boy!!!
