Congratulations to Daddy Greg, Momma Britt and Big Brother Hunter...on the arrival of beautious Ava Elizabeth Algorri!!! It was a spectacular privilege to be present once again for the birth of another great grandchild! That's three for me and one more on the way! Kelli and Beau's next is coming in January! Yah,yah, yah, yah, yah...yah...no one can catch up with MiMi! Ava is so sweet, so precious and so perfect! Why am I surprised? All my granddaughters and great-grands are absolutely glamorous! And the grandsons and the great-grandson are if not the most handsome, certainly among the most handsome in the world! I have lots of "naked" photos that will not make it over the internet but will be delivered in person to Mom and Dad and saved for the appropriate moment to embarrass the pants off Ava! I will tell you that my position at the end of the receiving crib leaves much to be desired in the way of perspective...but the nurse wouldn't get out of my way! What can I say? I want to tell everyone who visits this website that we have the most precious, beautiful little girl I have ever seen. I am a little prejudiced, I admit. But Ava is just adorable. She is so teeny-tiny!! It is hard to believe that she weighs the same that Hunter did. It is hard to believe that he was that little. He thinks so too. Anyway, I had to brag a little. Hunter really liked trying out the baby sit-up seat! You know that would make a great booster seat at a table! Maybe you need TWO! Again, sorry I was late in arriving but hope I made up for it by staying a little longer! Your friends are lovely young women, Britt, and you are fortunate to have such an extended "family!" I know that you all help each other immensely. And the news about the birthdate...July 30th...makes ANOTHER July birthday! Can you believe it? It's becoming more hectic than the October week! Tomorrow we're off to Santa Fe for my July occasion and I know we will enjoy the cooler weather as well as seeing friends and visiting galleries and museums. A big Georgia O'Keefe exhibition is presently at her museum, so I look forward to seeing works of hers that have never been exhibited. Then we come home on Saturday night and go to guess what? Yes, a friend's birthday party on July 30th! I have to go buy frames for paintings on the 30th as well, as the manufacturer from Tiajuana will be here with a truckload. I'm glad the father is coming as I can bargain more with him than his son! I have to get busy and paint, paint, paint as there are multiple exhibition deadlines coming up in July!
