Welcome to Jonathan's first website!
Jonathan David 10-19-2007 12:28 PM 4 pounds
Love, "Aunt" Christy -Christy Kremer The pictures show so much warmth and love. Jonathan is the cutest. What a lucky little boy, he was given a wonderful Mom and Dad. Look forward to new pitures, -Dixie Hughes Britton Dear Jonathan, It's been about a month since we returned from your first cruise. It was a big week for all five of us - Mom, Dad, Neannie, Papa Dave and YOU! I'm sure you remember everything that occured, but I thought I'd write so everyone else can know all the things you did. We left Columbia at 4:00 a.m. and drove to KC for a flight to Denver. Then on to Los Angeles. You were so good on the flights, in spite of the fact that you didn't sleep much. When we arrived in LA, we took a van ride to the boat, Sapphire Princess. We boarded her on Saturday, Feb. 21, 2009 and you immediately started to WOW the crew! Before long, everyone knew your name and you were the toast of the cruise! We set sail for Puerto Vallarta and cruised for 2 days to get there. On the way, you sampled a lot of different food and were just a little bit cranky, on occasion. Something on the boat didn't agree with you and you developed a bad case of the hives. Your mom and dad took you to meet the ship's doctor and he gave you some medicine to clear things up. Once the medicine and calamine lotion kicked in, you started feeling a lot better! From that point on, everything was smooth sailing, except for the occasional 2:00 a.m. stroll your dad took with you to calm you down. The medicine worked, but it made it hard for you to sleep. You started to eat better and feel more like doing things. And you took a hankering to Ping-Pong!!! For the next 3-4 days, we couldn't even get near the ping pong area without you letting us know that we needed to play for a while. And then there's the pool! You discovered several really fun things to do in the pool area. The ship was moving quite a bit so the water sloshed on the pool apron. That was fun and it chased the ping pong balls we had "borrowed" from the game area. And you loved to play in the pool shower with your sun hat! You must have gotten in and out of the shower several hundred times before the cruise ended. You also loved to throw the ball to your Dad, which you did for a long time. We didn't get off the boat in Mazatlan, but we sure did in Cabo San Lucas. There, you, Neannie and Papa Dave took a boat ride to town. After a snack at Hooters (you insisted), we boarded a water taxi to Lover's Beach. The water taxi was fun because the driver had a pelican friend that sat beside him. The pelican's name was "Chicken". One time, we got too close and Chicken flew away, but, then, he came back. The beach was great fun and you got to walk in the sand. Another little boy showed you how to play in the sand and we took pictures of you. You were so good all day and Neannie and I enjoyed you so much. After a while, we took a boat ride back to the Sapphire Princess and left for Los Angeles. We cruised for one more day and you continued to enjoy ping pong and the pool. All too soon, the time came for us to leave the boat. We took another van ride to the LA airport and boarded a direct flight home. There were several toddlers on board and you were the best by far. It was so much fun to travel with you - I hope we have many more chances to do that. On the other hand, we enjoy you so much that when we do anything at all with you, it brings us joy! Thanks to you and your parents for the wonderful trip. We will never forget the wonderful week we spent with you! -Papa Dave Mere words can't express the joy you have brought to our lives. Your smile, your delightful chatter and squeals of delight, your movements as you learn to reach with your hands and push off with your legs - everything about you charms all who meet you. Neannie and I look forward to watching you grow and mature under the watchful eyes of your mom and dad, who love you so much. You are truly a beloved boy and a joy to behold. And a great blessing from God! -Papa Dave He is such a doll!! Love you all, Janet -Janet Hey there my little dude! It's about time i signed in to your website.
