In March of 2004, we got the happiest surprise anyone could ever ask for! We were being blessed with a baby!! Daddy and I were beyond excited, nervous, happy, scared, overjoyed and about a gazillion other emotions!
Kaitlyn was born on November 17, 2004, the first grandbaby on both sides, and stole our hearts even before her first cry. Her website has served as a baby book, updating all of her amazing accomplishments from birth, through the baby year, toddler years, the preschool years and is about to get more exciting with Kaitlyns first year of Kindergarten!
In January of 2007, we found out Kaitlyn would be a big sister as our family of thee grew into a family of four! On August 6, 2007, Kaitlyn became the bestest, most loving big sister ever.
Matthew was her baby brother and she wanted to be around him all the time; singing him songs, holding his hand, reading him stories and helping with his diaper and clothing changes. You could not imagine a more loving and dedicated big sister. What was hers was Matthews and she was all too eager to give everything in the world to him. We tragically lost Matthew when he turned 10 weeks old to SIDS.
Even though Matthews time here was much to short, he has touched our lives and our hearts more than we could ever explain. Kaitlyn will always be his big sister and she loves to talk about him all the time. She brags all the time about what a good big sister she is and talks to him all the time to fill him in on what is going on down here and how much she loves him. Family is the most important thing to Dusty and I. We are strong believers that family comes first and family is the cornerstone for having a strong foundation that will take you far in life. Kaitlyn is so incredibly blessed to be surrounded by so many amazing people that we have the privilege of calling family. The Family page introduces you to all of them!

The picture section is easily my favorite. You will find thousands (literally) of Kaitlyn's pictures. If you were to start at the last page and work your way forward you would see her blossom from a 32 week old fetus to a gorgeous, beautiful little girl. You can see how quickly she has grown and how much life and personality she displays on film. If you see one you like, let us know and we'll make sure you get a copy!
