Stories 14/12/07 - Laurence went to see Santa yesterday, he was very shy but was telling everyone about it afterwards. He is so hyper and excited it is lovely to see. He has got his Mummy all excited too. He is going to have a great time this Christmas, shall be taking loads and loads of photos me thinks!Add A Comment 07/10/07 - Laurence is a potty king now. He goes to soft play every Wed and meets Sophie who is two months older. They play together really nicely. She also has a sister called Ellen who is 3 days younger than Violet so it is good for them both to have some company. Add A Comment 26/08/07 - Not really a great deal to report on the Laurence front, his pees and poops in his potty as long as he isnt wearing pants or nappy and tends to walk around in the nuddy most of the time. His naughtiness level is through the roof, I think it is at its highest point now. He is a very caring and loving big bro though and is sleeping very very well. He is so clever, knows all his letters (big and small), cant count up to 10, can count up to 10 items accurately, can write a few letters too! We are so very proud of him! Add A Comment 16/07/07 - Potty training is going well, he does all his wees into his potty and has the odd poo out in there too. He aint very well at the moment has a nasty cold thing he has passed onto Vee Add A Comment 12/04/07 - As you can see Violet entered the world on the 1st of April 2007 at 5:38am after a pretty easy labour all round! Laurence is a very loving and caring big brother, she is settling in well, apart from a little bit of attention seeking and a few temper tantrums everything is running smoothly. Add A Comment 25/03/07 - Can't believe how quickly time is flying it is almost Easter! Obviously more important, inpending baby doom is almost upon us, at least we are organised. Settled into our new house which Laurence loves, we are all happy and at home here. Laurence has been sleeping in his own bed better which is good because with Mummys bump there isnt a great deal of space. Daddy is on holiday at the moment, he had a week he had to take before the 1st of April so Mummy and Laurence are very much enjoying having him home. Especially Mummy she is getting very big and uncomfortable and needs all the help she can get. As you can see from website pics Jinx has had her baby cats, three boy man cats called Guinness, Paddy and Snoops (named by Laurence), they were born on St Patricks Day. Mummy had a fab birthday, she gots loads of stuff, nice to feel special even though she feels like a walrus. Update again soon no doubt! Possibly with a link to Leeloo's sisters homepage. Add A Comment 24/02/07 - Eek due an update we think, Happy New Year by the way. Laurence is coming on in a huge way, he is almost 22 months and thriving. He is a gorgeous healthy boy and both Mummy and Daddy are very proud of him, apart from wishing he would sleep but that is a different story. We are hopefully going to be moving in the next couple of weeks to our new build in Lemington, keep you posted, we are just dying to get in now and Mummy's nesting instinct has kicked in and she wants to get ready for Cupcake to arrive. Ooh by the way definately a girl, 4d scan confirmed. We'll keep you posted on that too. Mummy's 21st just round the corner. She is going to be really fat by then. Just a quickie update again soon. Add A Comment 24/12/06 - MERRY CHRISTMAS LAURENCE LOVERS! Just wanted to say hope everyone has a fantastic day, sure we will, leaving for the lakes this afternoon when Daddy gets in from work, hope it isnt too late. We have so many pressies to take its scary!! Auntie Ellen and Uncle Nick took all the food yesterday which is really good makes it a lot easier, as it will probably be dark by the time we get away! Take care everyone, hope Santa is good to you! Add A Comment 15/12/06 - 10 days until Christmas! Bizarre! Time has just flown. Turns out Daddy didnt get the Managers job, apparently it is ok to give the job to someone and just take it back a week later. He is feeling more confident at work though and is going to apply for the Managers position after Xmas. Cupcake is growing fine, 4d Scan Date moved to the 10th of Jan, we are all really looking forward to it. Really just want to get the sex confirmed, and spend some time with the bump. Laurence is getting to be a very big clever boy, he is eating all big people food, he loves Tuna and his new fave is Noodles. Daddy hasn't been able to get Christmas Eve off, so we will be driving to the cottage on Christmas Eve after Daddy finishes and will be coming back on Boxing Day Night. Laurence has loads of presents mounting on top of the wardrobes, going to send them to Santa next week.Ooh we are going to be moving house again too, but we will tell you about it in the New Year! Add A Comment 21/11/06 - Just a quick update. 20 week scan was pretty disappointing, but Cupcake is fine growing perfectly, they think she is a girl, but they aren't really very sure. Got a 4d scan in January, should get it confirmed then. I was just so conviced its a boy, and part of me still thinks it is. Laurence is fine, getting bigger and better, eating more stuff. Daddy got a promotion already, the manager left, bit of a shock but I am sure he will cope. We are all really looking forward to Christmas! Laurence is going to appreciate it a whole lot more this year! Add A Comment 08/11/06 -Been a generally quiet month, Daddy has been finishing off at Greggs and getting ready to start at Fenwicks. He is pleased because the Manager there isn't really that interested so he might have a promotion pretty early on, score! Mummy is huge looks like she is carrying twins or a litter. One week until we find out the sex of Cupcake. Laurence is getting bigger and more clever by the day. He can say so many words now. His favourite food is fish pie. Can't believe he is 18 months on the 11th. We are pretty much ready for Christmas how is that for organisation! Add A Comment 17/10/06 - Long time no speaky! So much stuff has gone on. Aunty Ellen and Unkie Nick are married they are away on their Honeymoon but will be back tomorrow, hope they had a good time. Daddy didn't get the job at M&S, although they were quite misleading. Mummy had her exam on Friday the 13th, she is neither postive nor negative about it. Daddy also had an interview on this day, and feels its a 50/50 thing. Please God, we could do with some luck in that area!!! LeeLoo is fine, says about a million words, and can run rather than walk, is eating all sorts of new stuff, loving Fish Pie at the mo. Started Xmas shopping, holy moly! Pregnancy has been a nightmare, been nothing but sickness, pains and bleeds, never again! Got the 20 week scan on the 15th of November, going to find out the sex, ever so excited, Mummy knows its a Boy, Daddy reckons its a Girl, and Leeloo is just aware that it is a baby we think. Add A Comment 06/09/06 - It is Daddy's week off today, we have had a pretty dull week so far Mummy has been getting into her essay big-time and finished it, it was due today and was posted by hand today! Last essay of this course. Exam next month. Leeloo is amazing, walking like a pro now, so proud of him. He spends most of his time, playing with his toys and pestering the cats, generally he prefers the latter. Mummy's pregnancy is going well, she is 10+4days today, and developing quite a bump, feeling pretty sick, Daddy is a star he is really helping out. Daddy has two interviews lined up for the back end of this week, GOOD LUCK DADDY! Add A Comment 25/07/06 - Yay Daddy's payday! We were ready for that! Had a wonderful month, if Daddys gets any of the jobs he applied for last month everything will just fall into place. Our lives will be complete. Daddy is a bit bored of Greggs at the moment so he is going to be more focused into getting a different job. Also Mummy is pregnant again, she doesnt have a very good feeling so far, really paranoid about it. We could do with extra income if everything works out with our little Cupcake (nickname for mini-bump, we called Laurence dumpling before we found out what he was). We are very exited but trying to remain grounded. Mummy can't stay positive though, she is too scared. Laurence is fine, he put on a lb at his last weigh in, and a lb is a month is respectable for a 14 month old apparently. He is thinking more about walking, has taken 6 step in one go, and attempts to walk from one item of furniture to another. He's my big lad!! Add A Comment 18/0706 - Having a fab week so far! It is only tuesday of Daddys week off. Yesterday we went into Gosforth and just chilled in the park had an ice cream and it was mega fab! Today we went to Hexham it is a really beautiful place. Bought a cheap Dinghy to put in the garden for Leeloo to play in the lovely cold water, we tried with the baby bath but it is far too small. It is really cool has Kiwi's all over it! You can see it in the picture I guess. Add A Comment 13/07/06 - We are all very happy bunnies at the moment! Almost settled in our new place, Daddy is off next week so we are going to focus on getting the last little bits done. Still a few black bags lurking. And we can enjoy some time together as a family, we dont get to do it all that often. Daddy still hasnt had much luck job hunting, he feels his last Greggs interview was a flop. Mummy has started the Estate Agency work, but it is very hard and she feels a little fleeced by the whole do-dah. Leeloo is doing fine, up to 8 teeth and enjoys gnawing on anything he can get his chubby little hands on. Add A Comment 30/06/06 - Eek busy time. Moved house! Can't believe it! We all love it here though, it is so quiet and we have the hugest garden in the world and someone else cuts the grass for us. Billy Bargain! I think we are going to be very happy here, but I think it is going to be essential for Mummy to be driving because Mummy and Leeloo will eventually go stir crazy. Mummy has finished her Pattinson training, so is potentially earning. Just want enough for a little car and insurance. Leeloo has 7 teeth and is not walking yet, although he has taken a few little steps. Daddy has an interview for the temporary position at Northumberland St, fingers crossed eh. Jinx is settling in, the other cats have warmed to her. Everything is fine! Add A Comment 01/06/06 - Nightmare month really. Very busy with Laurence's birthday which was actually wonderful, excellent and everything I ever hoped it would be. His party was fab and you can tell by looking at the photos. We have to move out of our wonderful little home, the first place Mummy has ever felt at home. Our landlady is selling up. Everything is just up in the air, we dont know what is happening with Daddy's work or anytyhing. Laurence is a very happy little baby though, no interest in walking yet, but he can stand perfectly on his own for ages and ages. He has six teeth now. He got a squillion toys our living room is like a toy shop! But it keeps our little LeeLoo entertained, that is the main thing. Add A Comment 01/05/06 - It has been so long since last update! Sorry guys we have all been busy. Laurence has been busy cutting teeth, learning new things such as crawling faster than a bat out of hell and walking around the furniture like a wee pro! Mummy has been up to her eyes in the assigment from hell for Uni, it was the worst one yet and the next one isn't any better, she has also applied to be an Estate Agent who works from home, she starts training on Wednesday, she is worried about it though. Daddy has been prepping for his interview at M&S next Monday! We are all in hope with our fingers crossed, we deserve some luck eh! Add A Comment 13/04/06 - We spent lots of time in Berwick early part of this month! It was great, so relaxing, Mummy got to see some of the family and Laurence too obviously. Daddy was working at the Berwick shop, but he wasn't really that interested. Nanny and Grandad were up, they didn't stay long. Just one night at our house. Laurence has almost four teeth! He is turning into a big boy! We can't believe he is one next month! Add A Comment
