Its been such a busy couple of months! MAddie is getting bigger by the day! She can now count to10 all by her self and she is on her way to learning the ABCs!! She still hates Santa and wont even go near the area in the mall! So I dont think there will be any pictures with Santa this year! But maybe by next year she will understand more! We will be adding more pictures soon!
Pumpkin Patch
10/25/08
Its our first trip to the pumpkin patch and oh boy did Maddie love it this year! When she realized what we were there for she was excited to see pumpkins! She loved it so much! She had no problem tromping through the patch and picking little pumpkins up and showing everyone what they were! She even picked out her own pumpkin and picked it fresh from the vine! After about spending a hour in the patch we got her to go look at other things! She loved the bunnies and pigs but still did not like the horses so much! After giving Nana and Papa a break while Mommy took her to get her face painted we went into the big pumpkin section. She loved listing to those pumpkins because they were bigger than her! I cant belive how much fun we had! She is already askin to go back!
Duck Pond
Today was a fun short outing! We decided to go to the duck park at McKinley! Maddie loved feeding the ducks! We had a pretty big group there wanting out crackers and bread! She was kind of scared of the big gesse! I was too! haha! After we ran out of stuff to feed them we went and played at the park for awhile! She loves the swing so much and she had tons of fun just running around and the play structure! YA for good weather!!
Maddies 2
Well Maddie turned two and has become a big toddler so fast! She wants to always do things on her own even if she cant she will try to! She is learning so much so fast! She has learned how to count up to 5 and knows certain colors like pink blue and black! She also is still learning her sign launage. Its amazing how many words she knows and how many she can put together! She talks in four word sentences! I am so amazed by her every day! She is fully potty trained and almost never has accidents!
Getting ready for Halloween! She is so excited about halloween! We went to go pick out her costume! I thought she was going to want to be a princess or something girly like that and come to my surprise she picked out an AVIATOR costume! She loves it so much! We have so much fun ahead of us! Going to pumkin patches soon!! Cant wait!!
Almost potty trained!
well everyone Madaline is almost potty trained! She now wear panties all day and doesnt not have an accident! She is growing up so fast! She lets me know everytime she needs to go and runs in and waits for me to get there with her! I couldnt be more proud if her.
She is also now sleeping in a big girl bed! Not in her crib anymore! Oh my gosh how she has grown! YAY!!
Lots of fun!
Well Maddie has become a toddler in full swing! She loves doing everything on her own now and talking up a storm! She has been alot of new places!! She got to go to San Fransico with mommy and Christina for the first time! She rode on the train and loved every second of it! We also took her to Funderland! She didnt like that place all to much! But I am sure in a year or so she will! I think this summer is going to be packed with new fun outings!

On Sunday was Auntie Ruths birthday so we got to celebrate it at grandma and grandpas house with the family! Maddie has a blast spending time with her cousins! She played played until she was pooped out! It was such a fun weekend!
Trip to the Park

Today was such a nice day out we took a trip to the park!!
Maddie decided she wanted to ride first class by going in her buggy!! She loves riding in her pink buggy! She has finally started to steer it! YAY! As we were walking we passed our neighbors..they were coming back from a day at the park yay!! Maddie finally started learning how to do things on her own at the park! It is becoming so exciting to watch her figure out how to do things! Every trip top the park she learns more! I love it!
ZOO DAY

Today was Maddies first trip to the Zoo!! Even though it was kinda raining we had a great time! Maddie seemed to take aliking to all the animals! She really loved the gibbons...those monkeys are very loud..she loved to get them going to!! She even did the noise!! She got to see the giraffes and leopards and lions! Some of the animals stayed inside because of the rain! We will have to go back on a day it isnt raining so we can stay longer! We only have a few pictures.
First time to the snow
1/26/08
This last weekend was Maddies first trip to the snow where she could actually play in it! She at first didnt like it at all and wanted nothing to do with it! Of course nothing new with that. She is always like that with new things! haha!! She did love riding on the sled for a little bit but then wanted nothing to do with it after she felt the snow! She hated the snow...would not play in it or even really walk in it! I dont know why but its her! So we might try the snow again soon to try and get her to like it a little more! haha!! Hopefully she loves it sooner or later! We love the snow and would to share that with her!
Amazing!
I have noticed what a big girl Madaline has become lately! She is now eating with a fork and spoon 80 percent of the time, and she eats mostly everything on her own! She always likes to sit at the table rather her high chair! I think it might be time for a booster chair soon! Yeah! The other day i was doing laundry and I had piles of it on the kitxhen floor getting ready to put them in the washer, and she would hand the clothes to me! What a big helper she is becoming! She is also starting to talk more! She knows "up" "that" and she is using more of her signs to ask us things or tell us things! She know wash, thank you auntie beth! She says thank you alot and more please and bath and she tells us bed time! She is starting to turn into a big girl right before my eyes!
Take 2 Talent
Today was such a nice day...not weather wise but I and Maddie had a good day out of the house! I figured since there was not electricity we would leave the house! Maddie also had an interview with Take2 Talent. So we headed out for lunch and coffee...for maddie she had chocolate milk with whip cream! She loves that stuff! Madaline did such a good job impressing the lady at Take 2 Talent! She did high five and she smiled and played with the lady! She even showed her how to do some sign language! The lady was really amazed! hehe! But that is just a normal afternoon for me!
New Cartoon

So Madaline is finally into watching real cartoons not just her baby eisteins ones! This morning i turned the tv on and it happened to be on the cartoon channel. Maddie saw it and got so excited! Then the Backyardigans came on and she started to do a cute little dance! I think she loves that show! It was so cute!!

What a wonderful Christmas
OUr Christmas started on Christmas eve! We went to grandma and granpas house were the whole padilla family joined us there!! We go there everyyear for crab soup and prime rib!! When we got there Madaline was excited to see her cousins!! They ran around playing for hours! After about a few ours of playing and hanging out we decided the kids couldnt take it any longer for presents! We all started opening our gifts! Maddie made our like a bandit! She got a whole bunch of new clothes and some colorning book and markers! After about an hour of opening gifts maddie wanted to play some more! We all sat and ate dinner and talked! It was along day and night for maddie but she handled it well!!
On Christmas morning Maddie slept in until about 8 am..we went in and woke her up!! She was excited to see that santa and come! Santa left her a new tricycle and some mega blocks and some more new clothes! After that we all got ready to go over to Uncle Phils house! When we got there everyone was outside playing on Chris's new swingset!! We had coffee and hot coco before opening more gifts!! It took us over 2 hours to open all of them!! Maddie got some many new toys. She got some fake food and a shopping cart and a cabbage patch doll! After opening all the gifts it was time for maddie to take a well needed nap! After her nap she woke up to see all of her cousins there!! She had so much fun running around all day!! We all ate a big dinner and played our new guitar hero 3 for wii!! We ended the night with a big game of Bunco! Maddie made it into the truck and down the street before she passed out for the night!! It was such a great christmas!!
Santa
Today was a wonderful day!! I and Madaline got up early and headed out to the mall to go get pictures with Santa. We meet up there with Auntie Meanie...and baby Alexis. The line for santa wasnt that bad so we didnt wait to long...yay!! Madaline really does not like Santa yet but hopefully she will next year! Madaline did better than I did expect though..she didnt get to mad! So we got the pictures done and maddie was happy to not have to see santa anymore. All in all it was a good visit with the man in the red suit!
Such a busy week we had!
Well this week has been busy!! I and Maddie have been on the go!! The week ended with a bang! We went to West sac where we meet up with nana and papa to go to the jingle bell rock and tree lighting! we also saw santa! Maddie is not to crazy about the man in red suit!! But she loved all the music and lights!! So i dont know if we will get a picture without her looking like she is going to cry!! This weekend might be nice and relaxing just dont know yet!!
Christmas Time is here

I love this time of year it is cold and pretty out! I love all the lights and decorations people put up. I cant wait to take Madaline around and show her all the lights! We just put up our tree and she loves staring at it! It is a very pretty tree this year! We also have a fire going and it just feels so nice!
