1/14/10 Hello everyone. Sorry about not keeping up with the website. I have just been really busy with the Move to Zion and also trying to keep up with Abriel. Not going to lie she wears me out sometimes, and she knows it. Well lets see whats been going on. Christmas was a blast. It was such a great feeling watching her open up all her persents. Even better knowing she can open all her persents by herself. Although once she figured that out she wanted to open everyones for them. It was just to cute. She also wanted me to make sure that i say thank you to all who got her someting. She loves everything. She loves everything so much she has to laying all over the house. I swear sometimes i wonder whats the point of picking up her toys when I know as soon as I turn around it will be back on the floor. Oh well its worth it!

5/13/09 I can't believe she is going to be One already. I have almost everything ready for her 1st birthday party! As most of you know we are going with the Abby Cadabby theme. I do want to let you all know that i will be making the cake so watch out. i am looking forward to it. Its going to ,hopefully, look like the one and only Abby Cadabby. i just hope i do it right
Well lets see what has been going on. As of right now Abriel has 11 teeth, and she knows how to use them. She also, sad to say, has a pretty cute little pink Cast. We were both going down the slide together and her foot got cought. The doctor said its mild and the only reason he is putting a cast on it is just for a caution. Dont worry it doesn't seem to bother her at. She is still crawling all over and she is walking with her little toy that grandma got her for Easter. The doctor said that she has to have it on for 3weeks. So on May 28th which is her actual birthday she might be getting it off. So when it comes to her party that weekend she should be ok. I hope! Well that is all i have for right now.
1/06/09 Well wow. First off I would just like to say I am sorry for not updating the website in sooo long. I have just been so busy with everything else. Also I would like to say HAPPY NEW YEAR. My goal this year is to keep up with this website. We'll see how much I actually do stay on top of it.
All right well as most of you know we got married again. I guess this mean this is the deal no going back now. To be able to share this with my family and friends just made it the best day of my life. Thank you to all that were there and also thank you to my Parents for doing such a great job. I hope you all had as much fun as I did. I just want to say thanks to Aunt Donna for the pictures that she took. The ones you see on the website our from her. I will be meeting with our photographer on thursday of this week. i will all let you know the website for those as soon as i get it.
So what is new with Abriel? Well as of right now we are 7mths old and have two bottom teeth. We aren't crawling yet but we are ok with that. She is soo big. Last time we were at the doctors she weighted 19lbs and that was a month ago. I am guessing she is about 23-25lbs. She is one heavy I mean healthy Baby. She loves everything you put in her mouth. She also loves her cake and ice cream. She even likes to eats all the prunes that we give her. I tried them to and they are not that good, well at least not to me.
ABRIELS FIRST CHRISTMAS. WOW does her family love her. She got so much stuff, a bunch of cute outfits and really neat learning toys that I really like. She loved all her toys from Christmas and as soon as I get the pictures from Grandma and Grandpa I will have pictures of her from Christmas. Nick and I were not on top of that this year. Good thing we have parents. I also just want to say "Thanks" I love the walker. I am able to get a lot more done around the house now. OH and the doggy she just loves it to pieces. Every time the dogs says something she just starts to smile and laugh and then its so cute she gives him a big hug too. I will have to figure out how to put video on here so you can all see what I am talking about.

8/14/08 What a summer! Sorry it has taken me so long to update the website. I have just been so busy with everything. I can't remember the last time I did so much stuff. I don't know where to begin. I guess the first thing we should start off with is Fourth of July. What a weekend. We all went up to my Aunt Bobbies, and man was that fun. We saw a parade. I was so afraid that it was going to hurt Abriel's ears, you know from all the loud noises, but it didn't she slept during the whole things. It was kind of nice.Later that day we went and saw fireworks. She slept through that too. What a great baby I have.
A few days later we went to Six flags with her Grandma Hanck. She had so much fun. I know what your thinking, she is a little to young to be going there. She went for grandma. See someone had to watch grandma while the rest of us went on rides. She took one for the team
A couple weeks later we went to the zoo. Wow was that fun. We got to walk in this butterfly house with over 100 butterflies just flying around you. That was really cool, as you can tell from some of the pictures that we took. I can't wait until she is older to do that again and really be able to watch her face as she see all the animals. Nick really liked the dolphins. I think he must have taken over 20 pictures of them, or at least tried. By the time he would try to take a picture it would be a big splash. He would have just missed them. I laughed the whole time. Poor nick, I still love you. It was really nice to walk around the zoo that day.
A week later we went to the Mil. Zoo and did the same thing all over again. However I think the Mil. Zoo is a lot better than Brookfield. It seemed there were more babies and their animals looked a little happier in their environment.
Than a few days later My Aunt Bobbie took us to Six Flags again. This time we got to go in the water park. Now that is a lot of fun. Those water slides are dark. I must say I felt like I was a little kid again running around the water park. Going down all the slide and the wave pool now that was a lot of fun too. But I must say out of everything the laze river was my favorite. Until David Lee and Mac pushed me in the cold waterfall, don't worry I wont forget.
Well I think that sum up what we have been doing so far. I think from now on I am going to try to update the website more often this way I don't leave anything out. Love you all and can't wait to see you all in Nov.
6/26/08 Well it has been one month and man do they grow up fast. The main way I can tell that she is getting bigger is that her clothes are starting to fit. Plus also my arm is starting to hurt. She is such a good baby. She sleeps pretty well and she really doesn't cry much. She is so cute. Everywhere we go we get stopped. Everyone just loves her. There really isn't much to say right now.
Oh I do want to say thank you to everyone for everything. We appreciate it all.
6/02/08 Well she is finally here. WOW. I can not explain the way I feel. There are times when I look at her and just want to cry because I am soo lucky to have her in my life. She truly is wonderful. I could not have done it with out my husband by my side. I love him so much.
Anyways lets talk about that day, that very very long day. Well it all started about 1am on Tuesday morning. Nick and I had just gone to bed a few hours before that. We had friends over for a little bbq. I was still watching TV and Nick was out. I tried waking him up for a little while. Finally when I got him up I told him I was in labor. He had asked me if I was sure and how far along I was. I told him I was about 15mins apart. He said " Ok go back asleep the doc told us not to call until they were about 5mins apart." And so I laid back down and didn't go to sleep, but he sure did. It was pretty funny in all.
So later on around 10am we finally got up and I call the doctor b/c I had an appointment to see her that day. So we go in to the doctor and she hooks me up to all those wonderful machines. After a while they tell me to go to hospital, that its time. They said the baby was sleeping and they wanted to make sure everything was ok. Which it was, she is like her father and can sleep though anything. So as we left the doctors Nick and I were both hungry and we were not sure when it would be the next time we eat. So we stopped at McDonald's and both got a Big Mac. HMMMM was it good.
Than, we got to the hospital and they gave me my epidural, I called it my magic button. I recommend it to everyone. Around 6pm my mom and dad showed up. Which was the best thing ever. It's always nice to have them by my side. My dad sure has a way of making everything funny. " By the way dad I had a 43 this morning" sorry everyone inside joke I had to put out there.
Time went on and on and nothing really seemed to happen. I fell asleep. I guess you can say I got tired of waiting. So I took at nap. Which must have been a good thing because Nick said I had some really big contractions that went over the radar.
Finally about 12am they told me I was ready to push. To tell you the truth I could have told them I was ready. Man I could feel it. Thanks to my dad I had the stupid song stuck in my head. "Push it push it real good", so I pushed and pushed and at 12:19am Abriel Marie Powers Came into the world. What a wonderful day.
5/13/08 Well the baby still isn't here. I can't wait anymore I am so ready for her to come. I have the room all set up for her. I got the crib in her room. (Thanks to MOM and DAD) It only took Nick and myself two hours to put it together. Note to everyone, why don't they label the pieces. In the Manuel they tell you to screw A to B but they don't let you know what part is A and what part is B. And of coarse all the pieces look alike. Lets say there were a couple of huffs and puffs while putting this together.
On the other note, I have been going to the doctors every week now. The doctor says everything is going fine. She turned over and is ready to come. She also thinks that she is about 7-8 lbs. I just hope that it is wrong but knowing her father I am sure they are right. He does have a big head and its not like we are small people. Also i am at 166lbs. You can't tell form behind but you can sure tell from the front. WOW!!! Well that is about all I have to say right now. I will keep you all updated as much as possible, and I am sure if I don't my mother will call and let you know.
P.S. for those of you that watch desperate housewives it is soo not far that she got pregnant after me and had her baby before me. Especially on Mother's day. But I bet her husband did not get her a mother's day cake from dairy queen with her name on it. When I get the pics for that I will show you all.
04/11/08 Well i am at the end of my 33rd week and I am ready. She is kicking like crazy. I already know that she is going to be like her mom and be a great soccer player. I see the doctor next week to make sure that everything is going fine. So far everything is going great. i am still able to do everything i was before. I also feel great. I do want to thank everyone for everything they have done. Both baby showers were great. I have so much stuff. The cloths are so cute and i love the high chair i got. I had some energy the other night and i decided to put everthing together. It was a little of a pain but everything worked out fine. I can't wait until she is her so i can have her use everything. I told nick with all this stuff we are going to need a bigger house. He just laughed at me. Well I will keep you all updated as much as i can. I hope you all enjoy the pictures. I will get the other pictures from the other baby shower on here as soon as possible. Thank you once agian everyone!!!
3/24/08 Well i just wanted to let everyone that i am doing great and so is the baby. Oh yeah and so is Nick. I am up to about 154lbs. I have my moments were i feel big, but i don't think i look that bad. Maybe one of these days i will let Nick take a picture of me, so i can show you all how i look. We all know he has been trying to take one for a while.
2/4/08 Well just wanted to let everyone know that everything is going well. i have gained 16lbs so far. The doctor said that everthing looks great. Next check up they are going to do another ultra sound so that means get ready for more pics. Love you all and thanks for checking in!
January 7, 2008 is going to be the day we hopefully find out what the sex of the baby will be. Nick wants a girl and we all know i would like a boy. Although as long as the baby comes out healthy we wont care really what the baby is. We will always love
him!!
