Our Christmas Day...

3 more days 'til Christmas!!

We've been having a wonderful couple of weeks getting together with friends and celebrating this wonderful time of year. The girls are excited about the presents under the tree already. We've also been teaching them more about giving since they definitely understand it this year. They already know what they want to get for each other. :) They also went shopping with Grandma to buy for Mommy and Daddy. We've been having fun with Advent as well, learning each week the reason for the season!

We put up our Christmas tree today!

We went to Nana's house for Thanksgiving and had such a wonderful time with everyone. We got to play in the snow which we haven't done in 2 years!! We had a blast running up and down the hall with Carrie, Molly and Logan. We also played hide & seek with Mimi, Poppy & Uncle Matt every day! We loved building the iron beads with Uncle Dan & Aunt Sara. And we got to play with all of Nana's jewelry.
We had non-stop fun!!

We blew and raked all the leaves into a huge pile in our front yard and the girls had a blast playing in them!

We're leaving for Morgantown in the morning and staying through the weekend. We can't wait to see everyone!

Nov 12- Sorry it's been awhile since we've been on here. We've been enjoying the beautiful fall God is giving us. Cadence is doing excellent with school. She has been learning her letter sounds and writing, as well as some math and geography. She gets very excited when we are ready to start. Alayna sits with us too, reviewing her sign language and coloring in her books. They are making new friends in Sunday School and small group. They LOVE their babysitter Jessica. Alayna calls her "My Jessica." :) We got them their flu shots the other day and when we came home to tell Uncle Matt this is what Alayna said to him, "We went to see somebody bad and they hurt me!" We laughed so hard!

Alayna won first prize at our neighborhood party this afternoon. She had best costume for her age group. Cadence won first place in guessing the candy jar (she won the candy). And Cadence also won first place in a coloring contest we went to earlier in the week. They're mailing her a GC and I'm sure she'll know exactly what to spend it on. :) See below for pics of our church's Fall Fest.

We had an awesome time at our church's Fall Fest (you can see many more pictures on my Facebook)! We got more candy than we know what to do with and played SO many games and rode SO many rides! It was an event to remember. Alayna dressed as Raggedy Anne and Cadence was a princess.

We spent the day driving down the Blue Ridge Parkway! God is truly amazing and His creation is sure something to stand in aw about!

PUMPKIN PATCH!

I crimped Cady's hair for church Sunday morning and she wanted me to take a picture. They are both really into wearing dresses and acting like "pretty princesses." They would wear dresses every day if they could. In fact, yesterday morning I pulled out pants for Cady to wear (We're finally enjoying some cooler weather, I almost cried a couple days ago seeing leaves falling for the first time in a year and a half! It was SO pretty) and she said "No, Mommy, then I can't be a pretty princess today." :) And after all this, she wants to be a pumpkin for halloween!

Sept 22- We were in Atlanta this weekend with Wrap 'n Wear and had a great time. We are super tired and weary today, so we'll just be bumming out, but are VERY excited that it's the first day of fall! This is Mommy's absolute favorite time of year! Enjoy the coming of cooler weather and praise God for His beautiful earth!

We had the first day of school on Monday and it went awesome! Cadence LOVES it and Alayna was really good learning from her book as well.

Well, it's the 8th already and here's a little update:

We are in OH again (having a blast). Justin/Daddy is in Vegas for a show with Wrap 'n Wear. Keep the company in your prayers!

We are starting homeschooling the Monday after we get back. Justin will also be giving both girls piano lessons. We are very excited for fall and everything we have planned.

Alayna is potty trained! We started on the 18th, she had accidents the entire day, the 19th we took her often and by the 20th she was telling us everytime she had to go, no accidents! We are so proud of her with how quickly she picked it up.

Looking forward to cooler weather for a change!

Here's another fun week with Uncle Matt! We're looking forward to an awesome weekend with Poppy, Mimi, U Ben, A Vanessa and Juliet! And we can't wait to see A Diane and Tom on Saturday!

Uncle Matt has been visiting us again this summer and here are some pictures of the fun things we've been doing. We went to Carowinds again, ImaginOn (an awesome library for kids), Coin Star to cash some change for fun money, on a train ride through downtown and to the Chick-Fil-A play place. We've also been having fun playing pirates and snow leopard with Muncle Nat! Also, Alayna is starting the potty training (that's why she's seen in her Dora undies!).
