The Felshaw Family Josh, Kim, Danielle and Benjamin
15 June 2008
Happy Father's Day! Today we are just lounging around and enjoying the day. Danielle gave Josh is card when she woke up. It was really cute. I hear Josh downstairs right now with Benjamin. Ben's crying a little giving Dad a hard time today. LOL Another laugh, I gave our dogs (yes both of them) a bath today. It was so funny. I just locked them on the patio with me, a hose, and some shampoo. I was not exactly dry after all of this. It was funny, but they smell and look clean now. Well, a bit of a catch up now. Danielle had her EEG and Neurology appointments the first week of June. The scan was a nightmare and I hope she never has to go through anything like that ever again. They did not sedate her and it was horrible just to watch. She cried the entire time and was hoarse for 4 days after the scan. Well, we got the results back this past Friday and the Neurologist said everything looked good. She would normally send her for the MRI at this point, but she thinks it would be too much putting her through that right now. So, basically we are back at square one and just waiting to see if she will have another seizure. Hopefully that was the last and we won't have to worry about it again. We did get a prescription for some medication to be given in the event of another seizure. This will immediately stop the seizure and bring her body temp down drastically. So, we are a little prepared for it. Benjamin got his first haircut. I know already and only at 4 months. Everyone was calling him a little girl, so we had to do something about that. It was not done professionally, just by me. So needless to say it's not perfect. He does look like a little man and is very very cute. I'm not just saying that because I'm Mom either. Ben is also taking solid foods now, can roll over all the way, likes to have conversations (in his language), and is actively trying to sit up all on his own already. He pulls himself up with his very strong abs and elbows. At his 4 month appointment he was almost 14 lbs and 26" long. He is a very skinny but long little boy. Very unlike Danielle. Danielle is now walking. Not sure if I mentioned that the last time. She just got up and started walking one day. Now we can't get her to stay in one location. Never liked those harness things they have for kids, but the first time she ran away and tried going into the road, well lets just say, she now wears one. It's really cute and she is also saying more words. I'm sure my Mom has already bragged to most of you how she says Grandma and Grandpa now. She is getting so big. Josh says they are growing up too fast. I keep telling him there are many years left and not to worry that much. Well, I think that is about it for now. Nothing else new and exciting as of yet. It's still early in the day though. LOL Josh, Kim, Danielle, and Benjamin
