Hi Family & Friends...

I CAN NOT believe summer is half over!  It has flown by.  We have been keeping very busy.  We love running between the beach and the pool with our friends the Hahnes, Graves, O'Connors, Beales & Rafters.  All the little feet can be heard miles away, stomping to the pool.  We just returned from Smith Mountain Lake with JR's parents, and his sister Bridget and Mike & Colin.  We had a great time and fantastic weather.  We went on the boat everyday (which all the kids loved) and even went tubing.  Unfortunately, J.R. got a severe case of swimmer's ear, which turned very painful and stayed in bed the last 2 days at the lake.  Thank goodness he is feeling much better now.

Now, Hayden & Abby are starting swimming lessons tomorrow and counting down the days until school starts.  Sam & Abs will be starting Holy Trinity Monday -Friday 8-1.  We are looking forward to a busy fall.

Also, my very good friend, Jenn Graves welcomed her new baby girl Maggie to their family.  Jenn and I have become very close over the last few years and her twin boys, Gavin & Blake, will be in Abby & Sam's class at Holy Trinity starting in September.  How exciting for everyone!

Hope all is well and please keep in touch!

Peace & Love,
Kelly

Hey there! Well  -summer has officially started!  How exciting!!  We've been very busy already.  J.R. went to Richmond for work for a week and we joined him half way threw.  We spent time with Gams & Pap Pap and had a very busy couple of days.  Gams and I took the kids to Richmond's Botanical Gardens for the day. It was beautiful and the kids had an amazing time.  That evening, J.R. & I took them putt-putt for the first time.  It was hilarious and pretty much chaos.  Then J.R. took off on Friday and we headed to Busch Gardens with his sister, Bridget and her son Colin.  We had a great day there as well.  We are exhausted to say the least.  Now we are ready to relax, enjoy the beach & the pool and spending time with family and friends.  We are looking forward to Hayden starting soccer camp at ODU tomorrow and anxiously awaiting the arrival of our close, close friends, Jenn & Adam Graves' new baby.  We welcome them to the "Parents of Three" Club. Ha hah ha

Hope all is well and please keep in touch!

Peace & Love ,
Kelly

Hello All-

Thank goodness Spring is here!! I don't know how much more winter we could take!  Hayden has decided not to play soccer this spring but try baseball.  They have only had a few practices, but he seems to like it.  Games begin the first week in April and we'll keep everyone posted w/a schedule in case anyone would like to stop by for a game.  Also, everyone is excited for Spring Break - not only for the Easter Bunny but that is when Hayden and Abby will switch rooms. I'm not so sure Sam & Abs understand, but they will no longer be sharing.  The boys in one, girls in the other.  Hopefully it's an easy adjustment.

Hope everyone has a very happy Easter and hopefully we'll see everyone soon with upcoming warm weather!  Please keep in touch!

Peace & Love,
Kelly

Greetings - Hope everyone is doing well.

We have had a very slow month around here.  By looking at the pictures I put up we're getting severe cabin fever!  We did have a small get together for J.R.'s 30th birthday which was a big surprise to him with our parents and some close friends.  We're taking Hayden out this week for making Honor Roll again and waiting for Sam's ear surgery which is scheduled for Monday, Feburary 4.  It is an outpaitent surgery and they have to drain excess fluid built around his eardrum and putting tubes in because he is having difficultly hearing. As soon as that's over we'll be ready for SPRING!!

Hope all is well and please keep in touch!

Peace & Love,
Kelly

Hi There-

Things are starting to settle down around here.  We've had Christmas, New Year and my birthday! The kids had a wonderful Christmas and Santa came and went a little overboard.  It was great seeing Hayden, Sam & Abby walking down the stairs and freeze when they saw the tree! It was amazing.  We went to J.R.'s parents to celebrate Christmas with them and my birthday and then came home for a quite New Year.  We are now staying in and keeping warm and getting ready for ......drumroll........J.R.'s 30th Birthday at the end of the month.  I'll keep everyone posted on plans for that!

Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!  And please keep in touch!

Peace & Love,

Kelly

Hello Everyone-

We have had a very busy weekend and even more to come!  This past week Sam & Abby turned 3!  I can't believe it!  They are no longer babies and are offically potty trained! I can't believe that either!  We had a huge party at J.W. Tumbles in Ghent, a kids play gym.  It was a lot of fun and I think everyone had a blast.  All of their best friends & family were there.  Next weekend Hayden's basketball games starts and can you guess who's coaching??  Yep, it's J.R.!!  I'm really excited to see them both on the court.  And before we know it Santa will be here!!  The kids are so excited!

Take care and hope everyone has a very, happy holidays.

Peace & Love,
Kelly

Hi all-Hope this finds everyone well.  We had a great Thanksgiving.  We traveled to Richmond to visits J.R.'s parents, his sister Bridget and her husband and the kids cousin, Colin.  We had a lot of fun and ate very well.  A few days before we went to a birthday party for a boy in Abby & Sam's preschool class. They had a lot of fun.  Of course, the Graves were with us, which always adds to the fun.  We are now officially potty training and gearing up for Abby & Sam's birthday party!  It's so hard to believe they are turning 3 already! It feels like just yesterday we were bringing two little, tiny babies home on a cold winters night from the hospital.  (tear)  Anyway, Hope everyone had a very thankful Thanksgiving and hope to see you over the holiday season!  It's approaching soon!

Peace & Love to all, Kelly

Hi All-

We have had a very busy few weeks.  J.R. and I went to Pittsburgh to visit his best friend Eber and catch a Steeler game.  We had a great time.  We wish we could go more often.  Sam & Abby started school on Tuesday and Thursday mornings and love it, and so does Mommy.  A few hours to run errans in peace means a lot.  And in even bigger news, J.R. has signed up to be Hayden's soccer coach.  They have a great time together.  They have games every Saturday morning at Lake Taylor if anyone wants to come out and watch a game.  They both do a great job. I love watching them.

Hope everyone is doing well with a busy season approaching us.  Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas are right around the corner.

Peace and Love to all,

Kelly

Hi Everyone!
Well, our summer is officially over. :-(  We have been packing it full of fun things these last two weeks.  We went to Nags Head with our best friends Sara & Matt and their baby Dylan last weekend, right after my friend Rachel's fun wedding, which JR and his Neil Diamond impersonation came out! Then this weekend we had Hayden's 6th birthday party, which was a blast.  This kids had a great time.  Thank you to everyone who came and made it a fun time. And today, Hayden started first grade! (tear..tear) He was very excited!  His actual birthday is Thursday, so we planning on taking the crew to a Tides game! Yippee!

I hope everyone is doing well!  Please keep in touch!

Hi All-

Thanks for checking out the Verostic Family Website!  We're very excited to have a site for friends and family out of town (and in-town) to keep up with Hayden, Sam & Abby.  They grow and change so much and fast this is a fun way to see them.

We are enjoying our summer with lots of time with our friends.  Hayden, Sam and Abs best playmates are Dylan, Sara and Matt's little boy, and of course, Gavin & Blake Graves, another set of twins who we've become very close with.  We have been doing lots of fun field trips to the pool and Botanical Gardens, and if it's not too hot, the beach.

Keep checking back as I'll update the website with new pictures and news.

Happy Summer and Love to all,

Kelly, J.R., Hayden, Sam & Abby
